The old Blacksmith building is located in a quite courtyard environment in the center destrict of Berlin in the Perleberger Street 16, close to the new Berlin main train station and the Fritz-Schloß park.

The name of the apartment is derived from historical function of the 100 year old building as a service workshop for the near Ulanen barracks which had 1200 horses.

The complete flat has about 65 sqm. The former outside wall of the blacksmith building is no part of the living

room and bathroom with shower. The bedrooms have queensized beds.

The main living roms with live-in kitchen has a movable teak wood table and a small comfortable sofa.

The whole apartment offers a comfortable environment in the city centre of Berlin for 4 quests.

    (Christmas New Year rates 2012 227 Euro per night from Dec. 22. to Jan. 2nd 2013 minimum duration for this particular period 4 days.)

Wonderful apartment

This is a beautiful, clean apartment with new furnishings. Stephan cheerfully greeted us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the apartment. The layout was comfortable, and the location on a courtyard was quiet and peaceful. It is a short bus ride to the main train station and tourist sites.

My husband, daughter and I had a wonderful stay at this apartment and recommend it without hesitation. If we are fortunate to return to Berlin at some point, we will want to stay here again!
