Did you know that Mont Saint Michel is one of the most important sightseeing spots in France? Some insider advice for the summer season, drive by car to Mont Saint Michel late in the evening, so that you arrive there at 20:00 and experience the unforgettable “Son et Lumiere” (Sound and light performance) in the monastery. The later you come, the better chance you have of enjoying this performance alone. Couple your visit to Mont Saint Michel with a special gastronomic experience: Order an omelette in the “Mere Poulard” restaurant (world famous) down in the old town. A better tasting omelette does not exist! Another cultural destination of choice is the romantic abbey of La Lucerne, 6 miles from the house. After leaving the abbey you can buy many homemade specialties (jams etc) for your breakfast in Dragey.

Spend your time in Granville between the casino and the Christian Dior house in the “Institute Previthal” while enjoying the anti-stress spa, shiatsu, Ayurvedic massage in the “Jardin de Bien-etre”. There is a gorgeous sea view from here. Restaurant with panoramic view over the ocean and the sea over the Chausey islands.
