My wife and I live in Tybee Island, GA. We decided to build a second home here while our daughter was a student at Appalachian State University. I am retired and try to spend as much time as possible in Boone as it is such a beautiful area and time spent here is both entertaining as there is so much to offer and at the same time it is an extremely restful relaxing place to be.
My daughter was a student at Appalachian State University in Boone. My wife and I fell in love with the location during numerous visits there. We built the house as a rental property and to allow us to spend as much time there as possible.
We love the very distinct four seasons, The beauty of the mountains of northwest North Carolina, and the changing of the leaves provides a truly unique experience of the areas fall beauty.
