Our newly upgraded one-bedroom unit is literally 10 yards off the ocean. If privacy and quiet are important to you, A-9 is one of only a few units on Maui that does not back up onto a parking lot, nor front on a play area. As the day winds down, it is your world to enjoy. The only sounds you will hear are the waves slapping against the shore and the wind through the trees. There will be no slamming car doors, no early morning tour bus pickups, no late night revelers returning, no crying babies to interrupt your time in paradise.

Situated on Honokeana Bay, referred to as Turtle Town, you are steps away from entry into ocean. The turtles, the tropical fish and coral of Honokeana Bay are simply amazing. Across the bay is the Little Makaha surf spot with good, uncrowded waves during the winter season. Both surfers and boogie boarders will have fun go-outs at the spot.
The Napili Point Resort has 2 swimming pools with unobstructed views of the islands of Lana'i and Moloka'i, and 365 sunsets per year. Large grassy areas welcome the sun worshiper seeking a bit of welcomed solitude.
Once settled in you will find it difficult to leave to explore other Maui destinations. However, when you do decide to explore Maui there are dozens of adventures awaiting. Golfing at Kapalua, snorkeling Honolua, ziplining the mountains, exploring blow holes and ocean fed pools, greeting the sunrise at Haleakala, driving the Hana Highway, and dining at world class restaurants are all within your reach.
Any time of the year is the perfect time to stay at Napili Point. Summertime is especially relaxing as our A-9 unit is away from noise and commotion associated with the influx of children to Maui during summer vacation. Late spring is also uncrowded with great weather and lower rates to be had. Another great opportunity for good weather and no crowds is the time after Thanksgiving and before Christmas. If you can fit Maui in during this time you will be rewarded with great airfare rates and uncrowded beaches, restaurants, golfing and shopping.

Kristin and John Murk have been staying in Napili since the 1960's. Ownership of Unit A-9 at Napili Point Resort represents the best of all prior property ownerships at Napili. John is an avid surfer and professional photographer. Honolua Bay is his favorite surf spot on earth. Flowers, surf, surfers, sunsets and waterfalls are his favorite photography subjects on Maui.
Kristin, who works as attorney for the State of California, spends her days snorkeling and reading. Her mornings and evenings spent watching sunrises with rainbows and sunsets with an infinite palette of colors.

If privacy and quiet are important to you, A-9 is the perfect vacation condo. We owned several other condos on Napili Bay and found the road noise, the comings and goings of tour vans at 5 in the morning, the slamming of car doors, the late evening return of guests bidding their companions good night, screams of kids playing on the lawn and so many other unwanted noise as a constant distraction.

A-9 is within the Napili Point Resort, located on Honokeana Bay, with possibly the best views of Lana'i and Moloka'i. The ocean is at your finger tips. No need to drive. Snorkeling Honokeana Bay, Napili Bay and Kapalua bay. Two of the finest Maui sand beaches at Napili Bay and Kapalua Bay. Surfing Little Makaha and Hole in the Head.

The best feature of A-9 at Napili Point is the ocean front, unobstructed view across the channel to Lana'i and Moloka'i of every sunset of every day of the year. Snorkeling in Honokeana bay is as good as any tour operator can provide practically anywhere else on Maui.
One of only a handful of completely sand beaches is located s short ocean front walk to Napili Bay. Napili Bay is as 'kid-friendly' a beach that exists in all of Hawai'i.
Surfing two spots immediately adjacent to the Napili Point Resort offer both beginners and experts fun waves during the fall through spring. World class surf spot Honolua bay is just several miles north on Highway 30.
Kapalua's world famous Plantation and Bay Golf courses are just minutes away.
Several restaurants catering to all tastes, including the Sea House, Merriman's, the Pineapple Grill and the Plantation House are within a few short miles.
A complete grocery store, the Napili Market, offers all your vacation stay needs with a great selection and reasonable prices.
A-9 unit is located about 10 yards from the ocean. It is constructed of solid concrete on all sides and the roof and as such is virtually soundproof. When you are in the unit the only contact with the world is the view across to Lana'i and Moloka'i. At night the only sound you will ever hear are the waves against the rock outcropping surrounding the property.
During the day you can sit under the Keawe tree you see in the opening photo, balancing sun and shade as the sun crawls across the beautiful Hawaiian sky.
After snorkeling in the bay, a refreshing cool or hot shower to rinse away that 'glazed donut' feeling is only steps away.
If you are into photography A-9 will serve as your home base of incredible land and sea scapes. Heading north on Highway 30 you will pass Kapalua Bay, Honolua Bay, an ocean blow hole, tranquil valleys and untamed shear cliffs rising hundreds of feet from the pounding ocean.
