St. Oswald/Kloster is a tranquil, sleepy mountain village with about 250 inhabitants with almost no tourism. We are especially proud of our inns, in which you can still experience culinary highlights at reasonable prices. Here with us, at 150 m above sea level, the summer nights are mild and no mosquitoes bother you in your sleep. Here you can be comfortable and simply enjoy the nature in tranquillity. If this gets too boring after a while, there are numerous possibilities to create an active holiday. It could either be a trip to the city of Graz, the Capital of Culture, into the nearby wine-growing areas, a visit to the Hundertwasser church in Bernbach or a hike through the mountain that passes to the castle Deutschlandsberg, just to mention a few. You find shopping facilities in the county town of Deutschlandsberg in about 15 driving minutes, as well as in the nearby mountain village of Preitenegg or on the biological farms in the neighbourhood.
