The apartment 1 - Zillertal was built 1998 on a corner property with fantastic view of the mountains. At your disposal is approx. 115 square meter apartment and balcony. From the cosy living room with two and three seat sofas as well as a television set (SAT receipt), you can enjoy the wonderful prospect of the surrounding mountains and ' Zillertal' .The kitchen is completely equipped with stove, oven, coffee/tea machine, water digester, toaster etc. Pots, pans, table-ware, cutlery and glasses are sufficiently present.(If desired the baker will deliver fresh rolls each morning.) Directly beside the kitchen is the dining room with 8 seats. From here you have a fantastic view, especially in the morning, of the meadows and mountains. The aparment has 3 bedrooms: 2 rooms are equipped with double beds, and one of them has an aditional sleep sofa. In the third bedroom is a bunk bed. Further, a bathroom with bath tub, shower, wash stand as well as a separate room with toilet is available.

It takes a good hour to get to Zillertal from Munich. Zillertal has 5 large ski regions. Kaltenbach/Hochzillertal - Hochfügen, Fügen-Spieljoch, Zillertal-Arena Zell-Gerlos, Zillertal 3000: from Maryhofen - Schwendau to Hintertux (Glacial ski area of the year 2006) with a total of 600 kilometres of trails and more than 174 lifts. The ski region of Hochzillertal can be reached in about 5 minutes from here with the free ski-bus. Since 2004, a merger with the ski region of Hochfügen has occurred. Thus, you now have more of a selection of trails then ever before.

Ski: Hochfügen - Hochzillertal/Kaltenbach ski region (600-2501 m): An interesting alternative has developed in Zillertal due to the merger of Hochfügen with Kaltenbach. 40 lifts open up 155 trails, from these trails, 26 km are difficult, 82 km are middle and 36 km are easy. The ski region is convincing of family and children friendliness, descents of up to 10 km (departure from the valley to Kaltenbach - covered with snow and illuminated until Easter) and superb descent variations. Permanent race course. 2 x weekly - night skiing. All day care for children directly at the mountain station. New starting winter 06/07: a second gondola from Kaltenbach (no waiting!), a larger ski and depot service station, 8 person chair lift with weather protection cover & heated seats to the 'Kristallhütte'. Snowboard: wide trails and attractive deep snow descents. Funpark in Hochfügen. Snowpark directly at the 6 person 'sonnenjet' (Hochzillertal). Snowboard center with half-pipe at Marendalm.

Other Activities: Adventure spa with mutliple swimming pools inside/outisde, water slides, wellness area and huge ice skating rink

Waren eine Wochen mit 3 Erwachsenen und 3 Kindern zu Gast in der Ferienwohnung und waren rundum zufrieden. Neben den 3 recht geräumigen Schlafzimmern (1x mit Stockbett) steht eine gut ausgestattet Küche mit angeschlossenem Wohn- Essbereich zur Verfügung, von wo man einen herrlichen Blick auf die Berge geniessen kann.
Weiterhin verfügt die Wohnung über ein modernes Badezimmer mit Badewanne und seperater Dusche. Das WC ist prakticher Weise sepeart untergebracht. Besonderst gut haben uns auch die zahlreichen Abstellmöglichkeiten für Skisachen, Helme usw. gefallen. Im Eingangsbereich gibt es genug Platz um Skischuhe u.ä. abzustellen und auch genug Möglichkeiten Skianzüge und Sachen zum Trocknen aufzuhängen!
Die Wohnung liess sich dank der regelbaren Heizung stets auf die gewünschte Temperatur bringen. Nicht vergessen möchte ich den Brötchenservice, der jeden Morgen gegen 07:15 Uhr die gewünschte Anzahl Semmeln liefert!
Zur Talstation nach Kaltenbach sind es mit dem PKW knapp 10 Minuten Fahrt.
