Aloha and welcome to Aloha Bay, our new, family-friendly tropical escape and your soon-to-be favorite vacation rental in Sea Isle. Our nicely decorated home is nice and bright, and includes many recent updates.
It is located on the first canal (closest to the bay) in Galveston's well-known west end subdivision, Sea Isle, and faces the bay. From the bottom deck or top deck of Aloha Bay, you can enjoy three views of the bay, some amazing sunrises and sunsets, and plenty of birdlife!
Downstairs we have extended decking with a spot lamp for night fishing. If you like to watch or catch fish, you'll enjoy fishing just steps away from the back door, or the blender! At Aloha Bay, there is water everywhere you look.
The newly updated 900 square-foot house is cozy, very clean and comes with many amenities to make your vacation relaxing, comfortable and convenient.
(Please note: We do not accept credit cards; no pets are allowed on premises, Mahalo); and we have an occupancy limit of 6 people for overnight stays). Our home is a great place for individuals, families, retirees, Ku ‘uipo (sweethearts), overworked corporate types (you know who you are), bird watchers, aspiring writers, or anyone needing a relaxing, quiet escape under the stars.
Aloha Bay is one mile from the beach, a perfect distance for a nice stroll or power walk. We are also about a mile from the Sea Isle Marina, where there is lots to do including a casual, come as you are bar/restaurant called the Sand Bar, as well as a more upscale restaurant upstairs called the West End.
The bar offers video games, pool, shuffleboard, TV sports, and near the marina, there is also a swimming pool, a free boat ramp, boat storage, tennis courts and a convenience store.
In addition, there is a bait shop that sells live bait at the Sea Isle Marina. There is a wide, lighted fishing pier in Sea Isle for owners and guests to use day and night. It is free; you will have a key as our house guest. For birding enthusiasts, there is a bird sanctuary adjacent to our neighborhood.
Guests can purchase a pass to the swimming pool at the marina. It is $25 for up to 10 people for an entire week and opens Memorial Day. Depending on the weather, the pool is usually open daily through the summer, then, after Labor Day, it is open weekends (weather permitting) through the end of October.
Our guests can launch a boat from the Sea Isle Marina, but our slip is NOT available for guests' use.
Our immaculate house will sleep up to 7, which includes the extra-wide couch in the living room. All living space is located on the second level. There are two bedrooms: one has a king-sized bed and the other room has a queen-sized bed and bunk beds. There is an extra-wide sofa in the living area that will sleep one adult. Upstairs there is a full-sized bath tub and shower. All linens are furnished. Downstairs is a utility room with a toilet, hand sink, and an outdoor enclosed shower.
The house has central air and heat, hardwood-like floors in common areas and plush carpet in bedrooms, and an all-electric kitchen that comes with basic seasonings, ice maker and plenty of cooking pots, pans, and utensils to prepare complete meals easily.
If you like to crab, we have a crab trap for your use. There's an electric grill for fabulous pancakes, a coffee maker, blender, food processor, mixer and crock pot.
There are two televisions and a growing collection of DVD movies, should you have time to watch them. We have a nice Weber traditional charcoal grill available for your use. You will need to bring charcoal and starter fluid.
Our requirements are simple: Groups with adult supervision of minors, not to exceed 6 guests total, NO PETS, please. No un-chaperoned minors allowed. No smoking in the house or loud parties.
We accept personal checks or PayPal. On short notice, we require money orders or wire transfers. Our rates are $225 for a 2 night stay, minimum; $200 per night for 4-5 nights; $175 per night for 6 + nights, all plus $75 cleaning and tax; $250 refundable damage deposit/a rental agreement required.
If you are interested, please ask for a rental agreement. Once we receive this form, which can be completed and e-mailed back to us, we'll put the house on a courtesy hold for 3 days to allow time for receipt of a check or PayPal payment.

We love the beach and being near the water. We bought this beautiful home as a retreat for our O'hana (families) to enjoy! We are working professionals who work hard and like to unwind on the weekend. Aloha Bay is the perfect place for us to relax.
We love to travel!! We have a busy family life and this location gave us the opportunity to getaway and not have to get on an airplane. With a growing family, this saves on airfare and is only a short distance away.
First canal, facing bay, close to T for great fishing! Bay and canal views. Fully outfitted home and kitchen for your convenience! Kid friendly! Swing downstairs and fully fenced yard! Partially covered, extra-large upstairs deck.
Sea Isle has many amenities. Marina and bait shop, swimming pool, tennis court, playground, convenience store, bar & grill, full service restaurant and private neighborhood beach access. Access to private fishing pier that is lighted at night. Neighborhood is adjacent to bird sanctuary.
