Our holiday home is situated on the sunny hillsides above Innsbruck, from where you can enjoy not only the picturesque views but also a rich variety of recreational activities. The Olympic mountain of Innsbruck „Patscherkofel“ offers plenty of hiking and skiing alternatives. And the Stubai Glacier, with year-round skiing, is only a few kilometers away. The lake of Lans invites you to swimming and ice-skating in winter. Lans stands out for its proximity to the Olympic city, where you can recharge your batteries with culture and enjoy numerous shopping and nightlife possibilities. Lans is also quite well known for its restaurants. A paradise for golfers – within a radius of only a few kilometers you will find several golf courses. Lans offers free transportation to the most beautiful skiing and cross-country skiing tracks, guided mountain tours, tobogganing under the moonlight. Unimagined sports possibilities such as climbing, paragliding, hiking and tennis.
Innsbruck:
Our regional capital is 15 minutes away walking or 10 minutes driving. There are numerous possibilities for culture, shopping, museums, theaters... surrounded by the abrupt cliffs of the northern mountain chain and the glacial tops of the Tyrolean Alps at the horizon. Medieval alleys with fantastic rococo facades and modern architecture invite for a stroll. Start your visit at the 148 steps to the city tower of Innsbruck. The observation deck offers a dazzling, terrific view. Not to forget Innsbruck’s main attractions, the Golden Roof and the Imperial Palace, where Emperor Maximilian I. and the regents of the Habsburgs left their glorious mark.
Skiing + Sports activities:
Our local mountain „Patscherkofel“ is located within 3 minutes away by car. In the immediate vicinity you will find further skiing regions such as Glungenzer, Axamer-Lizum, Stubai Glacier, Küthai, Schlick 2000. Free transportation to these skiing regions is available for our guests. Our ski schools also offer lessons for children and full-time day care as well as equipment for skiing, snowboarding or cross-country skiing.
Ski:
The local mountain „Patscherkofel“ is located within 3 min away by car. There are several gondola lifts to the top of the mountain where you can enjoy a variety of possibilities for skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing. Within a radius of 5 minutes you can reach the Glungenzer which also offers unbelievable skiing alternatives. Our neighboring villages such as Mutteralm (especially suited for children), Schlick 2000, Axamer-Lizm, Seefeld or Stubai Glacier are nearby. And the Italian border with its dream slopes is only 20 minutes away.
Golf:
Our holiday home is located directly at the golf course. The 9-hole facility lies amidst a park-like scenery between pine trees, deciduous and fruit trees. The course stands out for apparently easy fairways and can be played in about 90 minutes on a normal frequency. You can overview the complete course from the terrace of the new club house. As a guest of our house you receive a green fee reduction. There are further golf courses nearby – Igls (2 km), Rinn 18-hole course (4 km), Seefeld 18-hole course (33 km), Achensee 9-hole course (52 km), Mieminger Plateau (44 km). Innsbruck-driving range.
