4 schöne Tage in Friedrichroda und Umgebung

Der Kurzurlaub in Friedrichroda hat uns (2 EW + 3 Kinder) sehr gut gefallen. Die FeWo in der Pension "Sonnenschein" war sehr gemütlich und hatte mehr als genug Platz für uns alle. Es war alles vorhanden, was man so braucht, um sich selbst zu versorgen. Die Zimmer machten einen gepflegten Eindruck. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Und die Vermieter, die mit im Haus wohnen, sind wirklich nett.

Die Lage der Pension ist so ziemlich in Zentrumsnähe, dennoch ist man ruckzuck auf der Straße stadtauswärts z.B. Richtung Tabarz (Inselsberg). Zwei Parkplätze sind direkt vorm Haus.

Von Friedrichroda aus erreicht man sehr schnell den Rennsteig, den Inselsberg, diverse Schaubergwerke oder Höhlen (z.B. Marienglashöhle oder Kittelsthaler Tropfsteinhöle). Ist alles so im Umkreis von max. 15 – 20 Minuten (Auto). Da hat man dann genug Unternehmungen für eine Woche.

Fürs Frühstück kann man Brötchen (sehr gute) holen (5 Minuten zu Fuß). REWE-Markt ist im Stadt-Zentrum. Wir haben uns zum Abendbrot immer was Warmes geholt. Zu empfehlen ist die Pizzeria (in der Nähe vom Lidl). Ansonsten galt für uns: über 'ne ehrliche (Thüringer) Bratwurst geht kaum etwas (die sind sowas von gut hier!!!).
Fazit: schöner Aufenthalt in herrlicher Landschaft. Hier kann man auch öfter herkommen.
