Location and Luxury are the key words to describing this home. Bimini Canal is the first canal off the Caloosahatchee River once passing through the 'slow zone'. Fishing from the dock or watching the manatees or dolphins play in the canal are a daily attraction. Come make this your next vacation home!
John and Rebe enjoy anything that includes the out doors and fun. They are sure you will find everything you ever wanted to do for relaxation and recreation in a short drive from this vacation paradise.
Keli Moore purchased this house in 2006
This property offers luxury and location for your vacation. The huge lanai offers comfort and room to spread out to relax. Recently remodeled in 2012.
Location and salt water heated pool. Fishing from the dock and enjoying the dolphins and manatees playing in the canal. Southern exposure.
This house really became a home for us while we were staying here. It's absolutely wonderful, warm and welcoming. It's the perfect location with beautiful views of the canals and the river. We really had the perfect vacation here and cannot thank Rebe and John enough for sharing their beautiful home with us.
If you are ever looking for a house to rent in the Cape Coral area this is definitely the very best there is, don't look any further it really doesn't get better than this.
What a great place to stay! So clean it was unbelievable. The pool was great for everyone. Watching college/NFL Football while laying in the pool on a weekend in october is the best place you could be.
Every home owner wants his property to look as good as possible on the pictures of VRBO or Homeaway and sometimes take the pictures in such a way that the property looks a lot better or larger than in real life.
One of the reasons for us to rent Rebe & Johns house was the fact that it looked like there was plenty shadow to escape from the sun around the swimming pool. When we arrived at the house we were happy to see that the house is exactly as it is in the pictures. It's really a great place and the terrace is absolutely wonderful! Throughout the whole day you can choose whether you like to sit in the sun or prefer the shade. Absolutely wonderful!
The salt water pool is also great; it's larger than the average pool in Florida and the salt water concept is perfect. Not as salt as sea water but with the benefits of a pool without chlorine.
The Publix is at a 5 minute drive and there are plenty restaurants available in the area. On the highway 41 / Tamiami trail you'll find all the chain restaurants: iHop, Olive Garden, Outback, etc.
So to summarize: this is not a house, it's a home!
This home is everything that you see in the photos. It's a wonderful home equipped with just about everything you will need for an outstanding and relaxing vacation. Just bring your food and clothes and you're set. We had originally intended to use the house as a base of operations for our 8 day stay intending to go out sight-seeing but we loved the house and pool so much that ended up just staying there the whole time. Owners, Rebe & John went out of their way to make sure that we were happy both before and after arrival and quickly felt like they were longtime friends of ours. We also enjoyed meeting property manager Pal who couldn't have been nicer and more helpful. We would have brought that pool and 65" TV home with us if we could have. Overall, we highly recommend this home and it's owners! Many thanks Rebe & John!
Highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a beautiful escape to the Southwest Gulf Coast of Florida. This home is more beautiful than the pictures show. There was nothing we needed but to bring food for our week. The view, the pool, the home and neighborhood on the canal were all breathtaking. Everyday we enjoyed a visit from the dolphins and on our last day, the dolphin actually played with us for about half an hour. Even splashed us!! My husband enjoyed the dock to fish, we all enjoyed the pool and lanai for breakfast and then at night. We were welcomed with a nice bottle of wine and hand written note from the owner. Truly made us feel at home. So many things to go in this area. We were able to take a Rum Distillery tour at Wicked Dolphin in Cape Coral, we visited Sanibel Island, Captiva Island, Marco Island where we did kayaking on Tigertail Beach lagoon, Naples Winery at Tin City, Naples Beach with a beautiful pier, Fort Myers Riverfront District, Siesta Key and Charlotte Harbor. Not to mention a ball game over in Miami one night for part of our group.
Can't wait to schedule another vacation here and stay at this beautiful home.
My husband and I rented this house for just 2 of us. I am sorry that we didn't share as it was all that they said it was. The location could have been better. Everything was well maintained. We enjoyed the pool and feeding the fishes. We also have visits from some dolphins that came right up to the pier where I was standing. WOW. We are looking at perhaps moving to the area and the homeowner and property manager could not have been more helpful with what to look for, places to eat, and a number of other things. Thank you for much for being the perfect rental as it is my first time to rent a house. I may now be spoiled and don't think I will go anywhere else. Thank you again for letting us stay there.
