YES ! We have the perfect location for your stay in the Desert, we are so centrally located beside Indian Wells.
We offer a newly reno'd 1550 sq. ft. condo. Large Master bedroom has a sundeck facing the east and south, great place for your morning coffee,there is a walk in closet, dressing area and ensuite. Second bedroom has 2 Xlong twin beds which can be combined to create a king size bed, plus a huge closet. Second bathroom is spacious with a full tub and shower. Large family room overlooks the unique atrium open to the sky with fountains and plants.
The bedrooms and family room all have brand new carpeting, 7 steps down is the dining, living room, kitchen and atrium, this level is all Mexican tile, the entire condo has vaulted ceilings.
Large dining room faces the atrium and there is a charming gas fireplace in the living room. The kitchen has 2 big southern windows facing the lawn and pool. Huge attached double garage with lots of room for bikes, and gold clubs etc. Washer and dryer are located there as well. The condo has all the amenities you will need for a great vactation, new BBQ, large new flatscreen TV, internet, and phone with free long distance to Canada and US.
Patio off the living room faces the south for the all day sun, walk directly across the lawn to pool and spa.
Beside the main pool area and tennis courts is located the Club house for your use with a kitchen, pool table and lots of space for a good size get-together! The 2 tennis courts are brand new. There is a total of three pools with spa.
Location is very central, nice and flat for walking and biking. Its an easy 10 min. walk to the Albertsons or Ralphs shopping centers which include CVS, postal outlet, videos, Starbucks, clothing stores and restaurants including Dan Diegos, and lots of other shops, all very handy.
For more fun and the best shopping, restaurants and art galleries, El Paseo is just a short walk away and can be easily reached, its all flat and you can walk down some nice quiet streets to get there.
You can always just relax on the beautiful grounds, go for a stroll and help yourself to grapefruit, oranges and fresh lemons.
A fellow snow bird living in Vancouver, British Columbia, I was actually born and raised here, love it a lot but we all know why its so green, yes its about the rain for most of the winter months. thank goodness for Palm Desert, we love it here but not able to use it all winter yet.
The size of the condo is really great, it has saltio tiles in the living, dining, kitchen and atrium. There are 7 stairs up to bedrooms, baths and family room. The rooms all have vaulted ceilings so it has a very spacious feel. Also the location cannot be beat, we can walk to two grocery stores and restaurants plus several fast food outlets, its nice and flat, great for biking too. The community here is small, 52 owners but the residents are all very friendly and fun to be around, great neighbors.
Having the lawn off the patio with the pool and spa right there is nice just to look at as well as enjoy. The condo has high vaulted ceilings which add to the spacious feeling.
It is a short drive up Portola to the Living Desert where you will see many of the animals in their natural habitat, a great way to spend the day.
If you walk out into the desert behind the Living Desert you will come to Mount Eisenhower, there are hiking trails up to a covered rest stop at the top of the climb, the view is spectacular, what a perfect place to see the whole valley and get a great work out.
In March we will have some of the professional tennis players from the Paribas tennis tournament, practicing on OUR courts at Mountain Villas everyday of the competition. The Paribas is one of the largest tennis matches in the world and is a must see for everyone.
