You are staying in a several hundred year old Tuscan-style farmhouse which has kept its authentic charm. This is not a usual holiday home, but our own house and the destination of our holidays. The 20 mile panoramic view of the Chianti Classico region is absolutely unique and quite unforgettable. There are great views from each of the different apartments and terraces. The spacious and well-kept property offers several quiet areas in which to lie down and relax. The main house is built around a courtyard which is decorated with roses and an old, stone oven. Apart from the smallest unit (the ‘Annesso’) all our flats are spacious (970, 1075 and 2150 sq. ft.), and, every unit has its own terrace.

The lower apartment is comprised of two bedrooms and a large living room with old arched ceilings, a huge window with a panorama of the country side, and several exits to the lower terrace, the courtyard and the vineyards surrounding the house. Both of the bedrooms allow access to the garden. The apartment is also equipped with a modern bathroom and kitchen, including a dishwasher. This apartment is available all year round. Satellite TV, telephone and internet access are available upon request. The apartment’s size is 970 (or 1130 sq. ft. including the second bedroom) and suited for 2 to 4 persons. We would be happy to send you more pictures. If you rent the apartment for four persons (including the second bedroom) there is a 25% additional charge.

Das wundervoll gelegene Poggiarello hat unsere Erwartungen noch übertroffen (traumhafte Lage mit toller Sicht in das Chiantiland, schöner Innenhof, große Terrasse, bestens ausgestattete Wohnung). Der Blick aus dem Panormafenster im Eßbereich war immer wieder toll. Wir genoßen einen wirklich erholsamen Urlaub . In der 1. Woche war der Wettergott nicht mit uns, aber durch den Kaminofen im Wohnbereich, war es immer kuschelig warm. Wir fanden auch schön, dass jedes Zimmer einen Ausgang ins Freie hatte und es nur 4 Ferienwohnungen gibt. Das betreuende Haushälterehepaar war sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
Die Beschreibungen des Vermieters trafen alle zu.
Wir würden jederzeit unseren Urlaub wieder dort verbringen und können die Ferienanlage nur weiterempfehlen.

Die untere Wohnung ist gemütlich und stilvoll eingerichtet, an kälteren Tagen sorgt ein dänischer Ofen für wohlige Wärme. Die Küchenausstattung ist einfach perfekt, sodass man die tollen Einkaufsmöglicheiten in der Umgebung nutzen und wunderbar kochen kann. Das gesamte Anwesen ist gepflegt, der Blick aus dem Pool in die Landschaft traumhaft und die Lage im Chiantigebiet nahe Siena ermöglicht Ausflüge an alle interessanten Orte der Toskana. Sehr hilfreich sind auch die ausführlichen Hinweise und Beschreibungen durch den Vermieter.
