Welcome to Wurzenberg! Welcome to a sensorial oasis of everyday life! Enjoy the silence, the Southern atmosphere of the South Styrian Kingdom of Heaven in our romantic holiday apartment house! When the evening approaches and the sun starts to sink at the horizon – then you will realize the real meaning of holidays. Either on your own or in good society, hand in hand. On half way between Gamlitz and Leutschach, at the intersection point of the South Styrian wine trail with the “Klappotetz”, there you find Wurzenberg, the highest point of the region, with its fantastic view – the steep mountains of upper Styria behind Graz in the North and the “Koralpe” in the West. Our house fits perfectly in the landscape of the South Styrian wind-growing country. Shapes, colours and materials create a symbiosis of elegance and comfort.

The 40 square meter apartment has just been renovated extravagantly and is able to house 2-3 persons. A big living room, digital SAT-TV, HIFI Stereo with CD, foyer with a fully equipped kitchen corner, bath with toilet and shower, foyer, direct exit into the garden/to the covered terrace. Modern kitchen with exclusive equipment like automatic dishwasher, Refrigerator with a freezer, electric stove with 2 plates, Seats for up to 6 persons, Nespressomachine. Digital SAT – Flat – TV, connection to the internet, breakfast package on wish, covered terrace with a wonderful outlook including garden furniture, guest cab, pets on enquiry.

The Wuzenberg breakfast package: If you don’t want to prepare breakfast yourself, we offer you the breakfast package. It includes different products of the region, such as ham, salted and smoked meat, sausages, cheese, liver paté, eggs, homemade marmalade, honey, milk and butter(Stainzer), different sorts of fruit juice, as well as coffee and tea. Furthermore you can order fresh pastries with the baker, who drops in every day. You can book this breakfast package for either your whole stay or just for a certain amount of days.(please don’t book later than a week before your arrival)

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im Standardapartment sehr genossen und uns besonders gefreut, dass auch ein Kinderbett und ein Hochstuhl für unseren Sohn zur Verfügung gestellt wurden. Vielen Dank! Das Frühstück von der Weinbäuerin Maria war köstlich, reichlich und ist sehr zu empfehlen! Frau Isabella Wolfmeier aus Hamburg: Wir kommen wieder!

Es ist immer wieder ein Genuß hier am Wurzenberg sich dem Alltag zu entziehen, entweder durch sportliche Aktivitäten mit radfahren, wandern und laufen (Nordic Walking) oder ganz einfach den Blick für die Natur wieder zu schärfen. Doch Vorsicht, die von der Ferne sanft anmutende Hügellandschaft hat so manche Bergetape zu bieten. Hier lernt der Workaholic worin der Sinn des Lebens besteht - abschalten und loslassen. Wenn Straßenlärm, Hektik und die täglichen Sorgen einfach für gewisse Zeit verschwinden sollen, dann ist Mann/Frau hier richtig. Wenn das Wetter einmal nicht mitspielt gibt es genügend "Indoor" Freizeitaktivitäten in der Umgebung, auch ein Tagesausflug ins bezaubernde Graz ist sehr lohnenswert. Der Abend sollte stilgerecht, auf der schönen Terrasse/Balkon mit herrlichen Ausblick und einem guten Weiß- oder Rotwein (Welschriesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Zweigelt, Merlot uvm.) aus der Region, ausklingen.

Sehr empfehlenswert ist das Frühstücksangebot und die angebotene Weindegustation - einfach herrlich.

Die beiden Apartments sind sehr liebevoll eingericht und sauber. Die Küche ist mit den notwendigsten Gegeständen ausgerüstet.

Wir kommen sicher wieder.
