This charming 2 bedroom, 1 full bath carriage house is fully updated with every luxury amenity you need to enjoy your vacation. It is beautifully appointed with hard woods, a full kitchen, top of the line appliances, a gracious living area, an island with seating for 3 and a wonderful patio. The view in the backyard is expansive, lush and green. We have one off street parking space located just outside the house. This carriage house is a hidden gem within walking distance to restaurants, bars, parks and MUSC. Our home is located behind a beautiful Charleston Double main house in a quiet setting with no street noise. The master bedroom has a gracious king bed with pillow top mattress and luxury linens. There is a flat screen tv, ceiling fan and large closet. The Guest Bedroom is located upstairs and is a perfect retreat after a long day of shopping and site seeing. The Guest Bedroom has a queen bed with luxury linens. The full bathroom features a separate water closet for toilet, full shower, vanity and washer and dryer.

Just as expected!

The carriage house was perfect! We parked our car and never got back in it. The neighborhood is not quite there yet, but you can see it is up and coming. If you don't mind walking you can pretty much walk everywhere in the downtown/historic area. We couldn't have had a better time and our dog enjoyed his stay too! Great place--we would definitely stay here again!

Great location to base yourself in Charleston

This carriage house was perfect for our visit, an off street parking spot for our car, one block from the free Trolley Bus which took you to the centre of town ( King St) in 10 minutes. The house itself was spotlessly clean and we'll decorated/ renovated, two big bedrooms, large bathroom and well appointed with everything needed for a great stay. Great cafes, restaurants and bars are close by and the owner could not have been more helpful - I would definitely come back here any time I was visiting Charleston.

Nice place, manager unresponsive

The accommodation was as described, although neighborhood not as nice as we'd hoped. Only complaint was with manager unresponsiveness to wifi problems - directions for connecting were wrong, and only one person can connect at a time.

Owner's Response: Dear Guest, As noted in all of our 5 star reviews, our response time is within one hour. We take pride in our attention to guests' needs and have no fewer than 4 points of contact with each guest prior to and during their stay. We are available 24-7. You received our check in letter 3 weeks prior to your arrival and also spoke to us afterwards saying, "everything looks great; we have everything we need." You called two more times and left copious voice messages trying to sell our management company on your services for the new tourism company you started in attempt to get our business. As you explained in your multiple voicemails to our staff, you are a former employee of VRBO, and you have your own business which you are trying to promote. While we wish you all the best in your new endeavors we cannot engage in business with our guests. This would create a conflict of interest. Not only did we field your sales calls but we spoke to you directly on the telephone and provided you the wi fi password for a second time explaining it is the 16 digit code on the modem and is listed on two separate manuals in the home as well as in your check in letter. We have never had issues prior to this with any guest regarding the password. You were able to get online after we spoke and as evidenced in our wi fi plan were able to use many hours worth of the internet and wi fi. Our goal is to provide our guests with a clean, welcoming home and provide excellent customer service which 99.9% of our reviews reflect. Our home is located in a charming Charleston neighborhood surrounded by yoga studios, bakeries, boutiques, bars and restaurants frequented by locals. Spring Street and Cannon Street are in our desirable "Spring/Cannon" corridor near MUSC and close to both beaches as well as walking distance to our Upper King Street Restaurant District. Ideal crash pad for your Charleston getaway!

The carriage house was beautifully decorated and super clean. The kitchen has what you need and even some things you would not expect. The bathroom is huge with a really nice shower and lots of comfy towels. The bedrooms are very large with plenty of closet space. Yes, the living room is on the small side as is the TV, but we never turned on the TV and why would you hang around inside the house with so much to do right outside the door? I often stay in hotels or other apartments closer to King Street but the prices there have just become outrageous. You get so much more for your money in a place like this. It’s a bit of a walk to upper King but Uber is only $5. FYI when you summon Uber don’t use GPS unless you walk out to the street first. Type in the address or they will never find you! I drive an SUV and had zero trouble negotiating the driveway and parking was not a problem at all. No neighbor issues either…they were quiet and respectful. If you want a great place to stay in Charleston and get the best value this is definitely the place to be!

This is a great rental. So comfortable, clean, exactly as advertised. Maybe even better. I loved the location. We were able to walk dinner on King Street. Many small markets nearby for groceries but we took advantage of the grocery concierge. Hope to stay here again soon.
