Our spacious, superbly appointed holiday flat covers an area of approx. 92 square metres and fits 2-4 persons comfortably. It features a cosily furnished living room with a sofa suite, a small balcony, cable TV and radio; a bedroom with double bed; a dining room with a large dining table and foldaway double bed; a sophisticated modern bathroom with bath, WC, two washbasins and hairdryer; a second separate toilet; a fully-equipped kitchen with electric cooker, ceramic hob, dishwasher, fridge, coffee maker, toaster and ample crockery/cutlery. The flat is just over two miles from the city centre and takes just 3 minutes to reach from the motorway (Dresden-Altstadt exit on the A4). A tram stop, a bus stop and extensive shopping facilities are very close by.

Dresden - wonderful “Florence on the Elbe”: Dresden and part of the Elbe Valley have been a World Heritage site since 2004. And if you have ever been here, you will know why. Dresden’s historic centre with the Church of Our Lady, the Palace, the Zwinger and the Semper Opera House - just a few minutes’ drive away from your holiday flat - is worth the trip on its own. The Innere Neustadt district to the north of the Elbe boasts splendidly renovated baroque houses with large internal courtyards, whilst Äußere Neustadt with its numerous Wilhelmenian structures is a sort of Saxon Soho with no end of nightlife and pubs for all tastes. But there is also some impressive recent architecture such as the Jewish Synagogue or Volkswagen’s “transparent factory” to be viewed. Further afield, Meissen beckons with Albrechtsburg Castle and the Porcelain Manufactory, Moritzburg is home to a water palace and animal sanctuary, whilst Pillnitz Palace and its grounds can be reached by paddle steamer.

Cultural cornucopia:: The Semper Opera House and Staatsschauspiel Theatre rank with the best of their kind in Germany. Dresden’s Art Collections are amongst the most momentous in the world. A total of 12 establishments cover a cultural spectrum beyond compare. Amongst them are the Old Masters Art Gallery, the Green Vault, the Collection of Prints and Drawings, the Porcelain Collection and the Salon of Mathematics and Physics. In a similar vein, the open-air film shows and concerts held by the Elbe on summer evenings are unforgettable experiences. In summer there’s the Elbe Hills Festival and the City Festival to look forward to, in winter the Striezelmarkt Christmas fair. The Dresden Music Festival attracts around 100,000 music-lovers a year, whilst tickets for the International Dixieland Festival in May sell like hot cakes. Alternative guided tours on a range of themes offer a different take on the city.

Sport and leisure - there’s something for everyone: Nordic walking and jogging are popular pastimes in the “Grosse Garten”, a vast swathe of unspoilt nature in the city centre. The Elbe Cycleway provides the wherewithal for tours great and small, with frequent opportunities for returning by suburban train along the way. Bikes can be hired in the city. Bathing is possible at various open-air pools and natural lakes. Saxon Switzerland is a striking rocky area traversed by myriad hiking routes - some straightforward, some rather less so – and providing some spectacular views. Climbing and mountaineering of varying degrees of difficulty are also possible. The Elbe, meanwhile, can be negotiated by canoe, by inflatable dinghy or, with slightly less effort, by commercial paddle steamer. Children can ride on the park railway or visit the zoo, both in the Grosse Garten, or else they can be taken to the recently converted Hygiene Museum.

Comfortable Place to Stay in Dresden

A really nice place for a family to stay in Dresden. The apartment was even more spacious than we expected and very clean. The kitchen was lovely and it was really nice to have a dishwasher. Easy access to the tram with less than a 5 minute walk and then a 10 minute ride to the center of Dresden. Nice neighborhood and we felt safe parking on the street. It was evident that the owner takes good care of the property down to the small details. The apartment was decorated for the holidays and there was fresh fruit and treats when we arrived that made us feel welcome. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Dresden. We hope to come back and visit again and this property will be our first choice.

großzügige Ferienwohnung

Kurz und bündig: die Fewo ist sehr schön eingerichtet, tolle Villa, sehr nette Familien im Haus und großzügige Räume. Einfach prima!!! Wir waren zu viert dort und wir waren uns einig, dass man dort locker Wochen verbringen kann(so gemütlich ist die Fewo). Wir werden sie auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen. Bus und Straßenbahn sind in höchstens 5 Min. zu erreichen, Supermarkt und Bäcker in 2 Min.. Der Vermieter war ebensfalls sehr freundlich zu uns! Danke für die schönen Tage in Dresden...

Schlecht Management!

Wirs haben fuer 5 Personen ein Wohnung gemietet.
Bei Ankunft gab nur 3 Better da!! Wir haben verschiedene Telefonnummer angerufen aber kein Gehoer.
Das Management sagt jetzt dass es unser Schuld ist. Dass wir nicht angerufen haben und dass wir die falsche Kode benuetzt haben fuer die Schluessel. Wir koennen beiden beweisen. Wir haben um eine Loesung gebedet. Es wir nicht auf unser Mail reagiert!

Owner's Response: Die oben aufgezeigten Mängel sind nicht ganz korrekt dargestellt.

Es wird eine Mail mit Zahlencode, Adresse und Telefonnummern für den Notfall mitgeteilt.
Wenn Telefonnummern/Faxnummern aus der Buchungsbestätigung genommen werden und nicht zu den Bürozeiten angerufen wird, kann das Telefonat auch nicht beantwortet werden.

Dafür gibt es Notfallnummern und diese wurden leider nicht kontaktiert!

Wie unsere Gäste in oben genannten Fall in die falsche Wohnung gekommen sind, ist uns auch heute noch ein Rätsel, da Sie uns dies nicht erklärt haben.

Die gebuchte Wohnung befand sich daneben und war schön hergerichtet und hat nur auf seine Gäste gewartet! Es waren 5 Betten aufgebettet, Sekt als Begrüßungsgeschenk bereitgestellt.

Hier ist leider eine unglückliche Verkettung von verschiedenen Umständen zusammengetroffen.

Da unsere Gäste immer sehr zufrieden waren und auch die organisatorischen Abläufe gut funktioniert haben, sind wir zuversichtlich, dass dies ein Einzelfall bleiben wird.

Kommen gerne wieder

Die Angaben im Insereat sind korrekt und wir sind auch schon das 3. Mal in dieser Wohnung. Wir waren auch diesmal wieder von der ruhigen Lage und den neuen Möbeln angenehm überrascht. Die Wohnung ist sauber und gepflegt und hat alles, was ein Selbstversorger benögtigt. Alle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind zu Fuß schnell zu erreichen.
Die Buchung, Zahlungsmodalitäten und die Schlüssleübergabe sind einfach und unkompliziert. Wir empfehlen diese Wohnung gerne weiter und werden auch nicht das Letzte mal hiergewesen sein!

Einfach Empfehlenswert

In Erwartung einer üblichen Ferienwohnung wurden wir positiv überrascht. Die Großzügigkeit der Räume, die zweckmäßige Ausstattung und die Sauberkeit setzt schon Maßstäbe. Da nahmen wir den "Aufstieg" in die oberste Etage gern in Kauf. Die Lage der Wohnung ist wirklich zentral, Parkplatznot gab es am Wohnhaus jedoch nie. Aus unserer Sicht verbesserungswürdig ist auf jeden Fall das Anbringen von Verdunklungen in den Schlafräumen. Einige Reinigungsgeräte, wie Besen und Kehrschaufel wären auch vorteilhaft. Die Anmietung war übrigens völlig unproblematisch. Eine Weiterempfehlung ist ohne Einschränkungen möglich.

sehr schöne Wohnung in guter Lage

Die FeWo ist wirklich wunderbar!
Toll eingerichtet, sauber, komfortabel.
Einziger kleiner Minuspunkt: das Schlafzimmer sollte Rollos bekommen - es ist doch sehr hell ohne Verdunlungsmöglichkeit!

Die Wohnung eignet sich auch hervorragend für vier Personen - es gibt zwei große Betten und neben dem großen Bad noch ein Gäste-WC.

Die Erreichbarkeit der Innenstadt ist ebenfalls sehr gut!
Ein Supermarkt befindet sich direkt um die Ecke.

Unsere Woche in Dresden war einfach viel zu kurz! Wir kommen gern nocheinmal wieder.

The house at Roquettestr. 53 is a 3-minute drive from the Dresden Altstadt exit on the A4 motorway. The holiday flat forms part of a lovingly restored villa in the West Dresden district of Briesnitz. Briesnitz is delightfully located on the cusp between city and invigorating hilly countryside, affording fine views of the Lössnitz region to the north. It is just over two miles away from the city centre. A tram stop, a bus stop and extensive shopping facilities are all very close by. It doesn’t take more than 10 minutes to get to the city centre by car. There is some truly splendid walking to be done in the immediate vicinity, notably through the “Zschoner Valley” conservation area or along the Elbe.

Golf: Golf: there are 3 delightful golf courses of varying types in the Dresden area - the Ullersdorf links (18-hole) just the other side of the Dresdner Heide woods, the Dresdner Golfclub e.V. undertaking at Herzogswalde (9-hole), and the Dresden-Elbflorenz golf club at Possendorf (18-hole). These can all be reached within 15-30 minutes by car.

Ski: Skiing: in the winter season you can indulge in any kind of ski sport in the not-too-distant Ore Mountains or else go ice-skating in Dresden’s very own winter sports hall.

The spaciously proportioned 3-room holiday flat is on the second floor of a lovingly restored villa divided into flats. It covers a floor area of 92 square metres and can comfortably accommodate up to 4 people. Fine laminate flooring has been laid in the living areas and corridor. The cosy front room is tastefully fitted out with a leather sofa suite, sofa table, sideboard, television, radio and further conveniences. It gives out onto a small balcony. The romantically designed bedroom features a double bed, a wardrobe, a chest of drawers and bedside tables. As well as a dining table and chairs, the lovingly appointed dining room also houses a foldaway double bed (day bed). The large, naturally lit kitchen contains a fitted kitchen complete with electric cooker, ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, toaster, microwave etc., etc.
