Steps away from the heart of hip NOE Valley, this Edwardian Beauty will satisfy even the most artistic soul.
British fashion designer, published writer, advocate for the Sustainable Cotton Project, professor of Fashion and Sustainability at California College of the Arts, mother, wife, and beachcomber!
I grew up in England, studied fashion design in London, came to America to work as a designer in New York and then moved to San Francisco. I fell in love with a San Francisco native, and we now live with our 13 year old daughter in a beach community of 240, next to Green Gulch Zen Center and Farm in west Marin.
We love to share our former home, and neighborhood, which we think is quite unique. Please don't hesitate to ask about special needs or services to make your stay enjoyable. We will always try to make everything as comfortable as possible for you.
We have savored this Noe Valley location for more than 20 years and watched our neighbourhood become more and more fun over time. I was originally drawn to Noe Valley because it was a safe, vibrant, sunny and creative San Francisco neighborhood, with its own newspaper: The Noe Valley Voice! Located a stone's throw from Castro Street, every amenity is accessible within a few blocks. We have a wide variety of restaurants, many shopping options, a great organic grocery store, yoga classes, a library, a local bakery, tennis courts and easy-to-access transport.
The house has character and is located on a quiet one block street, yet it's close enough to walk to the busy commercial center of the community. We also have an unusually large back garden for the city, lots of sun and an apple tree that my now-husband planted for my birthday, when we were dating!
Our beautiful large back garden, washer and dryer within the unit, the charming details of an Edwardian building, garaged parking, convenient location to the airport…only 15-20 minutes by car….the deep claw-foot tub and our friendly neighbors!
Philz Coffee - famous throughout the Bay Area - ask for a 'Jacob's Wonderbar' - beans are roasted with chocolate !
Whole foods just a few blocks away.
Mill - the hippest new clothing store in the Bay Area
Playground - one block away, always full of children
Tennis courts - one block away
Contigo - best tapas, two blocks away
