Keep our friends in mind for next summer. They really like the house and would love to rent it for those 2 months. And, if you ever decide to sell the house, I think we might have a couple families that might be interested. Every time we bring a family to the Blue Lake Community, they absolutely fall in love with it. As we both know, what’s not to love about Blue Lake?
We would love to rent the house this Fall, but we are out of town 2-3 weekends a month for soccer, so I don’t think we would get to use it enough to justify the expense.
This is our last weekend with the house. We have really enjoyed it and it is clean and ready for you guys when you come in August.
This rental is perfect for a family that wants a getaway in a wonderful community. Close to boat ramp, lake beach, and right off the golf course. Great place for morning walks and the community is very friendly. We enjoyed sitting on the back patio watching the deer and golfers go by. The house is very comfortable and well kept. The owner is very easy to get a hold of and work with. We can't wait to rent again!
I rented the house as a present for my husband for his birthday. We had a great stay, the boat doc being so close made it easy for us to get on the water anytime we wanted to. The house was cozy and has a great view of the golf course and tons of deer. I highly recommend this house to anyone that wants peace and quite with amazing views. The owner is very easy to talk to and is very prompt at answering any questions.
Upon arrival, the property was not well maintained or clean. Many things did not work. The weather turned cold several times and the house was always cold due to a very drafty front door and bedroom windows. The kitchen lacked some basic essentials, which we had to purchase. The Blue Lake area and golf course was nice, but the 40-mile round trip to get groceries became a real chore. We would not recommend this property to a relative or friend.
We had a very relaxing stay, the home is very spacious and well stalked. Loved the view of the golf course and walking distance to the park, basket ball/volley ball court, and boat launch, I only wish I had a boat. The neighbors are very hospitable and the community is safe and clean. We needed a place to ease into our move to Austin, and this home worked well. However this home would make a great family retreat for vacations or family reunions. Lots of wild life around and it was an easy drive to Marble Falls for supplies. The owner is very attentive and accommodating. Thanks!

Austin is approximately a one-hour drive and San Antonio is an hour and half drive from Blue Lake. You can have a leisurely shopping afternoon in the “Big City” and enjoy dinner in the quiet of the countryside – all in a day.
In addition, Hill Country Galleria in Bee Cave offers a wealth of shopping and dining opportunities and is only 30 minutes away.
Blue Lake has easy access to robust and thriving Hill Country communities including Marble Falls, Johnson City, Llano, Burnet, Fredericksburg and Blanco .
We are far from being a backwater community. Aside from its natural beauty, quick access to health care facilities and clinics is available and local affordable shopping abounds. It is country living at its best.
