The “White Village“ Casares, mentioned in countless travel guides, possesses an untouched bay called “Bahía de Casares”, probably the most beautiful location along the overflowed Costa del Sol. The 20 apartment - complex “Torre de la Sal” is located on this bay and embedded in a stunning natural surrounding limiting with idyllic cliffs. On the top of these cliffs reigns a Phoenician watchtower from which our residence gets its name. The apartment is distributed into two floors. On the ground level you will find the kitchen, a utility room, the living room and a dining area with access to the terrace and the garden. This limits directly with the beach. Upstairs, you will find 2 spacious bedrooms with ample closets as well as the bathrooms. The master bedroom has a gorgeous view of the Coast and offers an en suite- bathroom. The second bedroom connects to a third one with an extra bed for a child and a large study desk. It also has a separate access through the exterior stairway.

Entertaiment options in general: Long walks along the beach, romantic sunrises and sunsets in front of the historic scenery of a Phoenician watchtower. Fishing at the rocks near the sea, cruises/ sight seeing of dolphins and whales at the Strait of Gibraltar. Water sports at the harbour of Puerto Banús, Puerto Deportivo Estepona, Puerto La Duquesa, and the Puerto Sotogrande; playing golf on more than 50 courts, practice polo in Sotogrande or windsurf/kite surf in Tarifa.

Day trips to local attractions: All Andalusia can be visited in one day trips: Gibraltar (25 minutes), Afrika (1 hour), Malaga (1 hour), Seville (2 hours 30 minutes), Cadiz (2 hours 30 minutes), Cordoba (2 hours 30 minutes), Granada (2 hours 15 minutes), Almeria (4 hours), Ronda (1 hour), Casares (15 minutes). Almeria: Moorish harbour, Europe’s only deserts, Little-Hollywood (Spagetti-Western!), Nature Park Cabo de Gata. Cadiz: Europe´s oldest city, Pearl of the Atlantic, conserves the Caribean atmosphere of Havana. Casares: cradle of the Andalusian identity founder Blas Infante and symbol of 'The White Villages of Andalusia”. Cordoba: famous mosque-cathedral with red-white arcades, an example of the melting of oriental and Christian- Western culture. Granada: last bastion of the Moors, Alhambra: declared World Patrimony by UNESCO (Spain’s most visited monument) - a must-see!

You holiday residence 'Torre de la Sal' is located directly at the dream-bay “Bahía de Casares”, surrounded by cliffs and on one of the most beautiful sand beaches of the entire Costa del Sol. Visitors looking for quietness or more active ones will both be rewarded and they don’t need to give up fine cooking: just 5 minutes away is the Spanish restaurant “La Choza”, you can also have fresh sea food at the beach restaurant “La Sal”. If you are looking for international cooking in an inviting atmosphere you can visit the nearby harbour “La Duquesa”. You can get easily to the cosy Promenade of the fishers´ town Sabinillas, where children can have a good time. Just 20 minutes away lays Marbella's splendorous harbour Puerto Banus with its unique shopping mile. Taking the other direction, you are just 10 minutes away from the luxury harbour Sotogrande. Directly in front of the house is the bus stop for the bus line that connects La Linea (Gibraltar) and Estepona.

Golf: The Costa del Sol is also well-known as the 'Costa del Golf'. During the whole year golfers of all the world –from beginners to professionals - enjoy the sunny days on Europe’s most numerous selection of golf courses: more than 50 Greens! Right in front of the house is the new golf course “Doña Julia' (18-holes), and just a swing away the club 'La Duquesa Golf', right next to the sport harbour. On the opposite side is the course of the Estepona Golf. Besides the high concentration of golf courses in Marbella you can also visit Spain’s most famous golf „Valderama“ which is located 20 minutes away (by car) towards Gibraltar. Venue of Volvo- Open and of the legendary Ryder- Cup.

Ski: Just 2 hours away are the Spain’s world-famous ski tracks of Sierra Nevada at Granada, venue of the Alpine World Championships in 1996.

  • Prices for two weeks and four weeks: high season: 1450 € (2 weeks), 2650,00 € (four weeks). Vacation workshops: from 1110,00 € to1210,00 € (2 weeks); season 2010/2011: from 1060,00 € to1260,00 € (2 weeks). Low season: 760,00 € to 860,00 € (2 weeks), 1.200,00 € to 1400,00 € (4 weeks); season 2010/2011: 800,00 € to 900,00 € (2 weeks), 1250,00 € to 1450,00 € (4 weeks). preseason 2010: 1110 € (2 weeks), 1950,00 € (4 weeks, i.e. 1 week free!). post season 2010: 1110,00€ (2 weeks). Prices refer to a maximum of 4 adults and 2 children upto 12 years of age!
  • Our rental conditions: In order to valid the reservation we will ask for 50 % of the total. The remaining balance (50 %) must be cancelled at the latest a month before your arrival. Cancellations are only accepted in written form and will have the following consequences: up to one month before the arrival: loss of the down payment, after this time line, loss of the whole rental price. Fair play: if we manage to rent the duplex on short notice and cover your lost stay, we will return your payment minus an administration fee of 150 €. An exception to the above is the private use of the apartment by the owners in case of emptiness. The rental prices include electricity, water and gas, also bath towels and bed linen. The cost for the final cleaning is 70 € (house, garden, washing of linen etc.). We are asking for a 150 € security deposit, which will certainly be transferred back to your bank account 2 weeks following you departure, if the rental conditions were kept.
