Would you love to relax and forget about daily stress in a unique space surrounded by nature? To enjoy pure air and water? To find your true self again? A typical, tasteful Stuga awaits you and offer worthy vacation days. Go inside and you will be delighted. Romance comes to life! Open fireplace, a cosy sofa and loft, a gorgeous dinning area, view to the lake, an inviting terrace, bird swings. A small kitchen and then the comfortable bedroom where you can retire and relax. The bathroom offers a shower and WC. The loft for 2-3 people is especially beloved by children. The gorgeous terrace with view to the lake invites you to take a deep breath. The Stuga is located on the most beautiful beach at Åsunden Lake, which offers the guest a swimming area, jetty, beach volleyball, also a spacious loft and fine sandy beach. Along the beach promenade you will get in just a few minutes into the famous old city district of Ulricehamn (2 km).

Swimming, fishing, boat and canoe rides: Summer activities: the Asunden Lake is one of Sweden's warmest lakes. At this place the beach vacation becomes a summer dream. If you want to enjoy a swimming pool there is one in Ulricehamn (2 km or 10 minutes away.). The place offers also a water slide and a pool for children, a cafeteria, a solarium and a fitness center. There are 17 fishing lakes at Ulricehamn and running streams of different sizes offering different fish. Fishing charts are available at Skotteksgarden. The 32 long Asundensee is the ideal lake for fishing, surfing, canoe/ boat riding. You can rent canoes as well as boats at Skotteksgarden! Boats owners can bring the rented boat to the yacht club at Ulricehamm. Berths are available for our guests directly at Skotteksgarden.

For the whole family: Numerous trip destinations in the surroundings are waiting for you and your family. Take a tour to the historic 'Höfen am See' around the Asundensee Lake. Here you can follow the footsteps of the Swedish writer Birgit Sparre, - a tour which is well known by every Swedish child. At Falbygden – Ätradalen eco- museum with its over 80 historic farms, cosy pubs and small art craft shops are an open door to discover South- Sweden’s charm. The Komossee - nature reservation is one of Europe’s largest conserved swamps. The untouched and contrast- full nature of the place makes it unique. More than 80 animal species can be seen at Bora´s zoo. You can also visit Liseberg – Scandinavian’s largest vacation park or Skara Sommerland, which is Scandinavian’s largest water park. You can easily get to both places by car through the freeway. At the 'Welt der Astrid Lindgren' both children and adults will discover Pippi Langstrumpf, Michel und Ronja Räubertochter.

Shopping, dining and drinking,...: Just 10 km away from the bungalow at Skotteksgarden is 'Gällstad', Sweden´s biggest textile center. Every Thursday a selling of the products take place at very low prices. Those in love with shopping will be pleased! Recommendation: the famous 'Dagens' (lonch) between 12:00 and 15:00.. You can get at almost every Swedish restaurant for ca. € 5 - € 7. The 'Dagens' is a complete meal with main course, salad buffet and coffee with cookies (includes 1 beverage); - often also as buffet.

The lake bungalow is located at Ulricehamn / Skottek, between Göteborg (100 km) and Jonköping (50 km) directly at the Asunden Lake. The old city- district of Ulricehamn (2 km), can be reached in just a few minutes by walking along the beach promenade. The Åsunden Lake is one of Sweden’s warmest lakes and very treasured because of its gorgeous beach and the restaurant which offers a magnificent view to the lake. The 32 km long lake is the perfect place for sports. Canoes and rowboats are available for free. Lake: enjoy the rich fishing waters (Pike, perch and zander). Fishing charts can be bought in the suburbs. Numerous trails for bicycle rides or jogging along the lake. 2 impressive golf course are located about 3 km away. Skotteksgarden is the perfect destination if you want to relax and also the ideal starting point of trips into the surrounding places. For example to the hometown of Astrid Lindgren, to the Skara Sommerland, the Universeum or the Komossee nature reservation.

Golf: Sweden’s south high ground- golf field is located just 3 km away from the lake bungalow in Ulricehamn. The 5.540 m large 18- hole golf course SSS 71 offers a driving ranch, clubhouse and a restaurant which opens during the summer. The hilly golf field has park and forest areas and is located in the middle of Lassalyckan´s vacation area on the sunny and mild slopes between Ulricehamn and Asunden. Soon a new golf field will be opened just 3 km away at the lake.

  • A few metres away from the Stuga you will also find a fitness center with sauna and 2 whirlpools; you must cancel the entrance cost. A washing machine and dryer are also available in the area.

  • Our lake bungalow offers around 40 m2 living space, which extends to the first floor and the loft on the upper floor. You have access to the cosy living/ bedroom through the terrace, which is furnished and partly glassed and offers a beautiful view down to the Asunden lake. The living- bedroom offers an open fireplace, a folding sleeping coach, satellite TV and a dining area for 6 people. The indoor’s arrangement is tasteful; - bathroom, flooring and furniture are made of high quality materials such as solid wood and nature stones. From the living room you have access to the full- equipped kitchen and going further to the bathroom with shower and WC. The cosy bedroom next door offers two twin beds. The sleeping loft has wood flooring and is on the top floor. It offers space for 2- 3 children. The bungalow is equipped with a modern air conditioning with heating system.
