We work on the premise of comfortable, casual luxury, and staying at Treeline gives a feeling of mountain side exclusivity in your own 3 Bedroom home from home.


So apart from being not arguably the biggest and best ski area in North America, with a Ski home trail (conditions permitting), or in summer hosting numerous world class events as well as the famous Whistler Mountain Bike Park...what else is there to do here?

Soak up peaceful mountain exclusivity in the large hot tub. A definite must at the end of the the meantime..

Well...Just walking our of our front door, cross the road, and within minutes you re confronted by the most beautiful lake, picnic area, nature trails, swimming platforms and British Columbia at its finest. In the winter the the Lost Lake trails are perfect for exploring on snow shoes, or kilometre on kilometre of floodlit cross country ski trails. The Callaghan Valley Olympic ski centre is a short scenic drive for real enthusiast of cross country. In the summer, Whistler thrives, and comes alive with incredible wildlife. We share our habitat with the peaceful bear population, and it is not unusual to see them while hiking or even walking around the village. Incredible hiking awaits you. With back country access, BC is on your door step.

The snow shoe trails become world class cross country mountain bike trails; you have to ride pinnochios furniture! Epic. There are hundreds of miles of trails all free. Ride around the village, use our 2 child chariot to take the kids, and maybe eat al fresco by the lakes (there are four).

Walk to Blackcomb or Whistler village, enjoy shopping and world class cuisine to suit all tastes and budgets. The free bus service is extensive and means that you don't need a car in Whistler. It services our area every 10-12 minutes.

Maybe go on a quad bike tour? River rafting? Bear watching tour, or ee eagles by river raft? Wild deer, birds, fauna, eagles, and alpine hiking are all on your doorstep.

At home, we are a family that relishes peaceful comfort, and our home is set up to provide you with more than just a holiday space. If we have it at home, then its in this house.

Situated in a secluded peaceful neighbourhood of the Woodlands, in Whistlers upper village, only 500 metres from the Chateau Whistler Golf Course, and 600 metres from the nearest restaurant and bar. We do not suit party groups, stag or hen groups, our home is suited to mature groups of friends and families wanting time together in the comfort of a home from home.

One of our favourite things, is that we are close enough to town to feel a part of it, yet just that little bit removed, so that shutting the door makes you feel as though you are in your own mountain lodge.

No cars needed in Whistler we have our fabulous hydrogen powered free shuttle buses.

About Paul Kennea

We started skiing in Whistler nearly 10 years ago. Whistler has been something of a love affair for us. We took our first holiday together here, we got engaged here, and an icelandic volcano kept us hostage here! We now live in British Columbia, and the Sea to Sky corridor is our home and business.

We have tried to create and environment that allows you to arrive, and fit right into a mould that allows you to feel at home. We wanted our vacation home to evolve into something that built relationships with guests who return year after year.

Treeline is unassuming yet prestigious. It has space, but at the same time is cozy. It is warm and inviting, and at night time is a serene retreat from the bustle of Whistler Village.

Nice enough...

The owner was great in terms of getting us set up and making sure we had enough information before coming up. Great location and close to everything, including the trails.

The house was nice enough, but for the price, perhaps we expected a bit more. Yes, it is a pet-friendly apartment, but we were covered in dog hair upon arrival. The kitchen was well equipped as other reviews state, but some of the main supplies (cutting board, pans, etc) were so old and dirty that we ended up shopping for new ones. The beds are also in need of new linens and blankets - no proper comforter in the main bedroom.

A bit unfortunate given the price that was paid.

Owner's Response: Dear Krista Its disappointing that having had such good rapport in the months before you arrived you felt unable to communicate about the issues you raise here in your review. I always take a personal interest in helping people who book with us to have a great vacation. I am genuinely sad that your vacation did not go as planned, and that your personal work circumstances meant you could not enjoy your own vacation as well. I know you thought about cancelling last minute, and I did offered a 50% refund just 2 weeks before your planned vacation. I'm sure you understand that for cancellations that close we cannot shoulder a full refund during peak ski season with little nor chance of selling that week again? I think our prices are incredibly reasonable, I keep close tabs on similar homes in the neighbourhood to ensure we are competitive, and had all of your group joined you as originally planned, you were in fact paying less than $50 per person per night in the premier ski resort of N. America. Yes, we are pet friendly which was why you booked with us. We pride ourselves on our home, and how it is presented, and our most recent reviews (including the group who stayed just before you) talk highly of the house, and particularly the kitchen and cleanliness. When we spoke the night after you arrived, you sounded very happy? Having left my personal cell number it's a shame that you felt unable to contact me about the other issue, but please let me address them. Cleaning - No complaints previously. I was horrified to hear your comments. Again, had you called me I would have sent them back in at no charge to you. Our manager is particularly pro-active on this front. Linens - All of our linens are high quality 'Eco' bamboo linens? They are changed every season. The comforters / quilts are also new this season. We don't change blankets, but they are laundered for each booking. Every room has extra comforters which are either under the bed, or in the wardrobe. Chopping Boards - There are five in total, and they are used by guests & ourselves weekly. Pans - There is a selection of stainless steel saucepans, a large frying pan, and a wok. We add to it when we think there is a need, and several new additional frying pans have been added this week. Again I personally think everything is in good condition and perfectly functional, and we aim to meet peoples expectations.

Great stay at Whistler!

Great stay at Treeline 6! The owners were amazing and available at all times to answer our many questions & concerns (sorry!). The place is well equipped with tons of kitchen supplies and a good supply of toys for the kids. Conditions at Whistler were not at their best but the owners had great suggestions on other activities to keep us busy as well as good tips on places to eat. They even had great tips on how to teach our 3 yo how to ski :) The free shuttle is really less than 100m from your doorstep and takes you right to the base of Blackcomb in only 10 minutes. The communal hot tub is great for an evening soak after skiing and we usually had it all to ourselves. Would definitely love to return!

Great place for a family

A warm and inviting accommodation. Very comfortable with plenty of room for a family to spread out. We really enjoyed the quiet location and also the easy access to the village. The home was very clean and had all the conveniences and amenities that we would wish for. The kitchen was pretty well equipped with basic kitchen equipment. The owner, Paul, was easily accessible for any questions and dealing with him was a positive experience. We'd highly recommend this home and hope to return in the future!

Great holiday rental

Excellent accommodation - well equipped, well laid out, clean, very comfortable and homely. The owners went out of their way to meet all our needs. Although it is at the end of Blackcomb way it is an easy walk to Blackcomb base and Whistler village and buses run very frequently from the end of the road. We did not use our car at all whilst there. It is a quiet location and being near to Lost lake park was great for walking the dogs and jogging. We would love to return for another vacation.

Wonderful Base For Family Christmas!

Lovely homely accommodation which provided a wonderful, comfortable, relaxing base for a family Christmas - we even had a Christmas tree and lights! Thank you! Well-equipped, comfortable, clean, nicely laid out property, quiet area but well situated with or without a car. Comfortable beds, thoughtful supplies of toiletries and some basic kitchen essentials. The layout was perfect for our family of 5 adults. We would love to return again!

Great location, great place, good times

Just wrapped up a fantastic trip to Whistler, in part thanks to a great place to crash.

The home was in an excellent location (right next to the free shuttle) with easy to access to the village. The rooms were cozy and the house was always warm upon our return from the slopes.

- Great mudroom ;)

- Great kitchen with lots of supplies

- Right across from the community hot tub

- Very helpful owners!


- We were 8 adults and found the space a little on the tight side, though as family we made it work. One room had a smallish bed for two, and the couch bed, although very comfortable, lacked privacy (obviously). That said, we still had a fantastic time!

Our ethos is to remove the stress from a vacation. We have learned lessons from a lifetime of globe trotting, and we strive to apply those to provide a real home from home atmosphere.

Treeline Six is a real home built for families, small and large, and groups of friends who want to share quality time together.

Children will love this home. We are child / baby friendly, so don’t worry about those bulky items, we can provide high chairs, a pushchair (or two come to that) a top safety rated baby baby Bjorn child cot, toddler cutlery and plates. There’s even a couple of toboggans!

Pets are also welcome with prior approval.

We try to make those decisions easier, and have equipped Treeline Six with a great vacation inventory from the fully equipped kitchen, flat screen LED televisions, smart technology such as the Sonos wireless sound system and keyless entry. Being parents, we know how bulky items such as buggies and child seats add to luggage allowances, so we have provided those as well.
