Our family moved to this Heaven on Earth in the summer of 1995, when our children were young, coming from Indianapolis. With world class skiing only 10 minutes from our house, we have spent many winters frequenting the slopes of Copper Mountain, with visits as well to Breckenridge (only 20 minutes away), Keystone (25 minutes) and Arapahoe Basin (30 minutes). And with Vail and Beaver Creek only 30 minutes away, we have the best of all worlds here in Frisco!
One of the delights of living in this town is the proximity of Main Street Frisco (a 10 minute walk) with its quaint blend of shopping and dining and with two parks (Walter Byron and Meadow Creek) just minutes from our door, we have enjoyed countless hours enjoying wonderful mountain days. Lake Dillon is 20-minute walk from the house.
The bike path, which is integrated throughout the county, is accessible directly from our street. You can hop on your bike and enjoy an entire day of exploring!
And when there are fireworks over the lake, you can watch them from the upper deck!
There is a never-ending supply of mountain trails in the mountains surrounding Frisco which we have explored throughout our 18 years here.
Skiing, snowshoeing, biking, hiking or just enjoying a quiet day at home, sitting by the fire or on the deck--we love this mountain town and our mountain home.
After 18 years in this county, we still love it as much as when we came.
We chose this property to buy primarily because of the neighborhood and the sunny location. This is an established and quiet neighborhood with many long-time residents who love Frisco. It is so well-located for going to the ski mountains, the parks, Main Street Frisco for Happy Hour or the Fourth of July Parade, as well as easy access to the commercial area along Summit Blvd. and I-70, without all of the hustle, bustle and noise of those areas. It has always seemed to us an ideal location.
You will love the openness of the floor plan when you have a group. We have always loved the sunny living area with views of the surrounding mountains, while enjoying being in a neighborhood. Living on 3 levels also gives the opportunity for some measure of seclusion, when you want it.
