Beautiful 3br 2ba Home With Gorgeous Mountain Views At The Top Of The Cove

We welcome you to our little piece of Paradise!!

This inviting and private 1360 square foot home is located on a large cul-de-sac lot near the top of Cathedral City Cove. The Cove, a beautiful hillside neighborhood, is well known for it’s star-gazing skies (no street lights allowed) and incredibly tranquil and quiet nights. There are 3 beautifully furnished bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a large private backyard with salt water pool and picturesque views of the Santa Rosa Mountains.

The living room is complete with plush furnishings, large flat screen TV and DVD with Netflix, Pandora etc. access. The fully equipped dining and Kitchen area has everything the gourmet or casual cook needs with easy access through sliding glass doors to the pool and backyard. There are ample linens and towels for inside and outside use.

The Master: Amenities include a plush pillow top California King, ample dresser and night stand space, private bathroom and separate entry from/to the pool area as well as flat screen television with DVD player.

The Double: This double-size room includes two Full pillow-top beds, long dresser and tall chest of drawers and ample closet space. Sliding glass doors open to the rear porch sitting area overlooking desert landscaping and majestic pine trees.

Queenie: The 3rd bedroom boasts a Queen pillow top bed and ample storage for the second couple or older siblings.

The oasis like backyard features rose bushes, pine trees, desert vegetation and a refreshing saltwater pool. A covered lanai, season changing lawn and elevated rear deck surrounds the swimming pool with expansive mountain views that change hourly and afford spectacular starry nights. There are pool amenities, loungers, patio chairs, tables, and a covered eating area.

The home is conveniently located south of Highway 111 between Palm Springs and Rancho Mirage. The location is perfect…close to everything...yet away from it all!! Access to miles of hiking trails lined with native cactus, smoke trees and fragrant wild desert sage without getting having to get in the car.

Within a very peaceful hillside environment, it's still only 10 minutes away from Palm Springs and Palm Desert. A short drive and you have access to movie theatres, including an IMAX, shopping, restaurants, golf courses and Palm Springs International Airport. The Joshua Tree National Park, Aerial Tramway, Cabot Pueblo Museum, Palms to Pines Drive and Aqua Caliente Indian Canyons are all a 1 hour or less drive away.

Fewer than 5 miles away -- less than a 10 minute drive is Palm Springs' Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort, recently rated “One of the Best Places to Play” by Golf Digest. A plethora of additional public and private Golf courses are nearby as well as Tennis Courts, Sports and Fitness activities and many excellent Delis and Restaurants!

I moved to the Desert at the beginning of my career and this is the first house I bought. A major fixer at the time and so worth it. The quiet serenity and amazing views of the upper cove always brings me to a wonderfully calm and loving sense of wellbeing. This is the house where my wife, Christel, and I began our relationship, had our wedding rehearsal dinner and have continually infused our love into this property for 20 years.

Laying in the sun by the pool and enjoying the wonderfully maintained landscape and everchanging mountain views in total privacy and serenity. Playing Golf and Hiking. Going to the nearby Casinos. Shopping in Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage. Wine Tasting in Palm Springs. Bike Riding and Going to movies at our Nearby IMax or going to 'the River' in Rancho Mirage.

Nice house, right-sized, good location

Our family of 4 enjoyed staying here. Great location for getting to Indian Canyons in Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert (all within about 10-15 minutes). Quiet, residential neighborhood. Nice hike into the hills behind the development. Appeared to be some mountain biking trails as well in that area. The pool was large, in early April it was pretty cold but swimable. Good, comfortable beds, and nice to have a TV in each bedroom as well as in the living room. Our kids enjoyed the pool table in the garage as well. Communication with owners/manager was easy, they were very helpful and accommodating. Listing and photos were accurate. Price was fair. No question, we would stay here again.

Well-maintained property in quiet neighborhood

This was a great, affordable place to stay while visiting the Palm Springs area. Two friends and I were in town for the BNP Paribas Open and stayed at this quaint, well-maintained home in Cathedral City. While 20-25 minutes away from our destination in Indian Wells, we were very happy with our "home" base. The house is updated and very functional with a beautiful patio/pool area. The property was as good or better than expected based on the pictures we originally saw on VRBO. The owners were very accommodating to our requests, and the manager was in regular contact and very helpful. I recommend this property to to couples, small groups, or families looking for a nice home to relax in why visiting the area. It might not be as centrally located as some other properties in the area, but this great little home is in a quiet neighborhood and very reasonably priced for the budget-conscious traveler.

We loved our stay here with our two dogs! The owners and Randy the next door caretaker could not have been more helpful. The pictures don't do the pool and outdoor space justice - and the totally fenced and private grounds were wonderful. It's a very quiet area - which is what we wanted - with lovely walks from the front door. We liked that it was between Palm Springs and Palm Desert - felt close to everything though not great for those wanting to be close to night life. We'll be back!

This home was perfect for our mixed family use. We had 6 adults & 1 child and we had plenty of room for all. The home was a great floor plan and the yard was gorgeous! Beautifully landscaped with the lawn surrounding the pool along with a three tiered hillside with a gorgeous collection of cactus and succulents! We relaxed by the pool and had enough space that no one felt that they were on top of each other. The neighborhood is great and being "just away but close enough" to all the amenities you might need in town is great. Centrally located. Fabulous owner, who was very communicative and flexible from the beginning and a great property manager that met us to check us in & show up the place. I will be back to rent this one when we come again! Thank you for a wonderful peaceful home to rent!
