Situated on a small road between village and lake 'La CasaNova' is the ideal vacation home for the complete family, two small families or a small group.The atlantic beaches are about 8 kilometers away by car in Moliets,Pichelèbe or Arnaouchoc.The house has 120 m2 and is conceived for self-cateringt. The fully epuipped american kitchen opens to a spacious and bright dinning- and livingarea with open fireplace. French windows open to a small breakfeast terrace and to the big south terrace on the backside overlooking the 2000 m2 of garden and the nature reserve forest. Here real vacation peace is guaranteed. Barbecue and sandpit are at your disposal - old trees give shadow if required. Each of the three sleepingrooms grouped around the bathroom have about 14 m2, they are equipped for two persons with doublebeds, linen and cabinets. The house was entirely renovated in 2007.

Leon is situated 3,5 miles from the beach surrounded by the landaisian woods, which are kind of wild between La Casa Nova and the sea. Leon is famous for its natural reserve. Starting at the lake of Leon you might take a boot trip through a jungle like ambiance downstream the 'Courant Huchet' to its delta in Moliets Plage. The beaches are about 5 minutes away by car. More sportive you could get there by bike on cycle tracks through the woods. Moliets Plage offers everything a certified beach can offer from life-guards to surfschools. Pichelèbe and miles of wild beach offer the contrary: there you are on your own at one of the most beautyfull beaches of europe. Leon itself is a typical coastal village with an historical center around a market place, where in summer a regional products market is held every day. Supermarket, bakery, seafoodstore and mutch more is at pedestrian raech (700yd). Restaurants and bistros are found in the center, at the lakeside and in every nearby village.

  • These prices include 6 people maximum. Every additional person will be charged with 50 euro/week. Children under the age of 1 do not count as additional person. The extras: taxe de sejour, electicity, water, gaz for cooking and linen are included. The final cleaning of the house : 70 euro per booking is not included. The central heating in colder periods or on demand will be charged by 25 euros/week.

  • The french double beds in all sleepingrooms are 160 to 200 cm big. All beds ar equipped with pillows and covers and a set of linen for every booked person. We do not provide towels though. Two of the bedrooms are situated at the forest side of the house and so can be called very quiet. If necessary a sevent person could sleep in the livingroom area - the sofa convertrs to a perfect single bed. We have a baby's bed if needed.

Surf: The best surfconditions in Europe ! Specially the main spots : La Nord and Les Estangnots near Hossegor are said to be the most powerfull beachbreaks of the north atlantic. Hossegore is 15 kilometres south of Messanges. Best conditions are in autum - up to 18 feet. Molites, Messanges and other near by beaches offer very good surfing conditions as well and these beaches are suitable for beginners too. If you are interested in a surf course we could pass informations on surf school programms and pricing. If you book a surf course in messanges through us you'll get a reduction of about 10%

Golf: The nearest golf cours is in Moliets about 3 miles away directly at the sea - 18 and 9. The small cours is open for players without handicap too. There are other courses in Vieux Bouceau ( 5 miles), Seignosse (11 miles), Hossegor (13 miles). The pricing especially offseason is very competative. Moliets is said to be one of the most beautyfull golf courses in europe.

14 Tage haben wir uns in dem absolut sauberen und ruhig gelegenen Ferienhaus trotz Hauptsaison sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Beschreibung ist perfekt und unsere Erwartungen wurden voll und ganz erfüllt. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit aber nicht aufdringlich. Wir werden das Ferienhaus weiter empfehlen und kommen bestimmt selbst auch noch mal wieder.

Schönes Haus in toller Lage

Wir haben im September zwei Wochen in diesem schönen Ferienhaus verbracht und uns wunderbar erholt. Das Haus fanden wir supersauber vor und wir wurden ausgesprochen freundlich von den Eigentümern empfangen. An diesem Haus ist alles drin und dran was man für einen erholsamen und doch komfortablen Urlaub benötigt. Auch und gerade der Verzicht der Eigentümer auf Unterhaltungselektronik hat uns ausgesprochen gut gefallen. Die Lage des Hauses ist schön ruhig und selbst die in einer anderen Beurteilung erwähnten Nachbargänse und -enten haben sich an die Schlaf- und Ruhezeiten gehalten. Leon mit seinem schönen und turbulenten Ortskern mit allen Geschäften, die man braucht und dem nahegelegenen See haben diese Ferien abgerundet. Die schönen Fahrradtouren in der Umgebung haben uns ebenfalls gut gefallen - die Fahrradkarten jedoch nicht -.
Die nahegelegenen Strände - wir waren immer in Messanges, der nicht ganz so kommerziell ist - sind wunderschön und wärmstens zu empfehlen.
Also ein rundum schöner Urlaub in einem tollen Ferienhaus, dass wir gerne weiterempfehlen.

Schönes Haus an ruhiger Lage

Wir waren Ende September 2008 für eine Woche Gast in diesem wunderschönen, gepflegten Haus. Es verfügt über einen Wohn-/Essraum, ein geräumiges Bad, 3 schöne Schlafzimmer, eine vollständige Küche sowie eine Waschküche. Davon abgesehen ist das Haus relativ spartanisch ausgestattet (keine Elektronik, keine Spiele, kein Lesestoff).
Hinter dem Haus liegt ein Sitzplatz mit grossem Sonnenschirm. Es hat aber auch genügend schattige Plätze unter den Bäumen.
Die Lage ist ruhig, an einer wenig befahrenen Strasse. Die einzige "Geräuschquelle" bilden tagsüber die Enten und Gänse des Nachbarn.
Ort und See sind in 10 Min zu Fuss erreichbar.
Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen; wir können das Haus bestens empfehlen.

Enspannung pur !

Eine in jedem Fall empfehlenswerte Urlaubsadresse ! Der äußerst nette Empfang durch die Eigentümer sowie Lage, sehr gute Ausstattung und Top-Zustand des Hauses haben uns (2 Erw. + 2 Kinder, 9 + 11 Jahre) einen wunderschönen Urlaub verleben lassen. Der bewusste Verzicht auf Unterhaltungselektronik war für uns durchaus wohltuend. Der nahe See ist vor allem für Familien mit kleinere Kinder geeignet, das Meer mit seinen kilometerlangen Stränden war für uns der Traum.
Dieses Feriendomizil empfehlen wir sehr gerne weiter !

Toller Urlaub

Tolles Haus, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, super sauber und wunderschön gelegen in dem riesigen Garten. Die Sonnenterasse liegt schön abgeschirmt im hinteren Teil.
Leon ist mit dem Fahrrad ideal zu erreichen, im Sommer jeden Tag Markt mit leckeren französischen Produkten.
Der See ist 5 min zu Fuß entfernt, ideal für kleine Kinder. Mit dem Auto kann man die tollen Strände anfahren, die auch zur Hochsaison noch nicht überfüllt sind. Alles in allem ein super Tipp für alle, die einen wunderschönen und entspannten Urlaub verbringen wollen. Wir wollen nächstes Jahr wieder hin.
