The villa with western exposure is located on a saltwater canal in a quite cul-de-sac in southeast Cape Coral with direct gulf access (only 5 minutes to the Caloosahatchee River, no lock, no bridges). We just refurbished the house and furnished it. There is a beautiful, solar heated pool in a tropical landscaped garden, so it becomes the ideal place for a relaxing holiday. There is also a boat dock and we owe a 23 feet Glastron Bowrider with 250 hp, which you can rent separately for 650 US $ / week + onetime introduction fee 50 US $ (under Florida law you must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driving license to run a boat).

Cape Coral is located directly at the Gulf of Mexico just behind the islands of Sunibel and Captiva and is just a short drive away from Ft. Myers Airport. Cape Coral is also known as 'Waterfront Wonderland' and 'Venice of America' because there are over 420 miles of waterways. This family friendly town with its 340 sunshine days is the ideal location for any water sport activities and for golf. There is a very good infrastructure with shopping-malls, water park, nature reserve and so on. Nearby you have the opportunity of sandy beaches, either lively like Ft. Myers Beach or quite as on Sunibel and Captiva Island.

  • All prices are incl. vat (6%) and citytax (5%), price is for two adult, addition person 10 US $/ day, one kid up to twelve year is free, 6 people max., electric usage is 30 US $/ week included, addition usage is 0,15 US $ KWH bedding and towels included, cleaning fee is 120 US $ and is direct payable to the local property management, deposit is US $ 500, Christmas and Eastern the tax is not included.
  • Terms and conditions: A down payment of 500 US $ is due with the booking confirmation and will be used at the same time as deposit. The total rental balance is payable 30 days prior the arrival. Cancelllations and refunds. Cancellation fees of 10 % of the whole amount will be charged up to 60 days before arrival, 59 - 30 days before arrival 30 % of the whole amount, 29 - 22 days 60% and 21 days or less before arrival 80 % of the total amount. We recommend a trip cancalation insurance.

Information about boat rental: Villa Savona owns a 23 feet Gastron Bowrider 5.7l engine with 250 hp. When you book our villa, you can rent this boat (if available) for the special price of 650 US$/ week. Boat introduction fee is 50 US $. Extra deposit for the boat is US$ 500.- . Comparable Boats will be rented for min. 1000 US $/ week. Under Florida law you need only a valid driving licence and you must be at least 21 years old to rent a boat. Villa Savona is the ideal place to dock a boat as you have to drive only five minutes to Caloosahatchee River, you don't have to travel through endless canals, locks or bridges. For inexperienced boaters we recommend a ponton boat with 115 hp that will set you back for 700 US $ /week.

Climate: In summer the air temperature is between 85 - 95 F and the water temperature is 78 -86 F. The rest of the year air temperature is 72 -82 F and the water always above 68 F. There are between 330 - 350 sunshine days in a year. The changing of the seasons is hardly recognisable and flowers and trees keep their green leaves throughout the year. Because the water in the Gulf never falls below 68 F there is swimming possible all year around.

Golf: Cape Coral is a golfers pardies. There are four golf courses within the city and more than 50 in the near area.

Wunderschöner Urlaub mit vielen tollen Erlebnissen

Wir waren mit unseren beiden Kindern (4 und 7) in den Weihnachtsferien
in der Villa Savona. Wir hatten tolle 2,5 Wochen und haben jeden Tag genossen. Das Boot hat als Highlight besonders den Männern Spass gemacht, die Wege sind zwar weit aber wir haben, leider erst am letzten Tag, einen Tipp von der wirklich netten Nachbarin erhalten einen tollen kleinen Strand direkt in Cape Coral am Yacht club. Der war klasse.
Wir hatten aber auch ein Auto und haben Captiva, Sanibel und Estero Beach abgeklappert waren auch in Tampa, Sarasota und in Busch Gardens. Alles super schön. Weihnachtsshopping war auch extrem gut.
Danke nochmals an Klaus für die nette Vermittlung.

Entspannung pur

Wir haben in dem Haus nach einer erlebnisreichen Rundreise für eine Woche gewohnt und die entspannte Athmospäre total genossen.

Das Haus ist wirklich komplett ausgestattet und sehr gepflegt. Uns hat das kochen und grillen im Haus so viel Spaß gemacht, dass wir fast nie essen gegangen sind.

Auch die Betreuung vor Ort war total nett und hilfsbereit. So konnten wir die Villa trotz Feiertag mit wenigen Stunden Vornotiz einen Tag früher beziehen.

Alles in allem nur zu empfehlen.

Relaxen in einem Traumhaus

Eine sehr schöne Villa in absolut ruhiger Gegend. Sehr gut ausgestattet, gepflegt und sauber. Der eigene Pool, das Motorboot und das schnelle Erreichen des Strandes per Boot oder Auto lassen keine Wünsche offen. Der WLAN-Anschluss ermöglicht einfachen und kostenlosen Kontakt zur Heimat. Bars, Restaurants und Supermärkte sind problemlos zu finden.

Wir waren nicht zum ersten Mal in Florida, aber wir haben uns zum ersten Mal so richtig wohl gefühlt, und das drei Wochen lang.

Nach problemloser Abwicklung der Buchung mit nettem Kontakt zum Vermieter war nichts anderes als eine perfekte Ferienwoche zu erwarten und unsere Erwartungen wurden mehr als erfüllt. Man kann diese Villa zu zahlreichen Unternehmungen verlassen, muss es aber nicht, wenn man mal richtig relaxen möchte. Alles super sauber und ordentlich sowie in mehr als ausreichender Menge vorhanden. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.
