Finca Alegria has a quiet and idyllic location on a 15000 m² fenced property, in the neighbourhood of Felanitx community on the eastern coast of Majorca. The Finca was renovated in 2005 in Majorcan style and covered with trimmed stone. The window and door frames are decorated with stones. The entire region is rural, except for the 150 m asphalted access way. The beautiful, big pool is 5 x 11.5 m large and it is surrounded by a big terrace. Around the Finca, there is a new garden. The Finca is an ideal starting point for bikers, hikers and mountain bikers. For the ones who enjoy riding, there is a big stable within 1.5 m. In the close vicinity, there are many resorts, promenades, beautiful beaches and interesting the possibility to make interesting yacht trips, golf courses and much more. Porto Colom: Porto Colom, a natural anchorage, is highly appreciated by the seamen. It has kept a lot of the original marine buildings, which gives the places a nice and quiet atmosphere. The center of the city traces back to the last centuries and serves as a second residence for the inhabitants of Felanitx, especially in the summer month. The other part of the village offers many leisure activities in the summer time. Here, you can find a big sandy beach with 2 smaller sand bays. There is also a diving and surfing school. Another important aspect is the ship industry, represented by small family businesses, which have managed to keep the old, traditional art in building the boats.

Cala D'Or: The center of Cala D'Or (‘the white city by the sea’) offers you a whole range of leisure activities on the eastern coast: restaurants, shops, bars, boutiques, etc. This is also the best Majorcan place for practicing sports. Each year, it attracts the elite of the European luxury yachts. Vall D'Or is one of the most famous golf courses on Majorca. It has a renovated Club House and a wonderful view upon Cala D'Or and the port of Porto Colom. Here you can find periodical golf courses for beginners and advanced, in small groups, in Spanish, German or English. Even for not-golfers it is worthy to visit the golf course.

Manacor: Manacor is the second most important city on Majorca. It is well known for the wood industry and for the production of artificial pearls. Manacor is located in the spur of 'Sierra de Levant' and was founded in1300 by Jaume II. The most important places to visit are 'Torre de ses Puntes' from the 14th century, the Dominican monastery 'Sant Vincenc Ferrer' and the Baroque monastery 'Santo Domingo'. The lime in the ground has enabled the house construction at different heights, in the close vicinity of Mancor. In the city of Mancor, there are supermarkets, a clinic, restaurants, coffee houses, shops and an attractive pedestrian area, which invites you for a walk.

The Finca is located in the south-east of Majorca, 55 km from the capital Palma and 4 km from the market square of the small town of Felanitx. Felanitx unfolds over 4 hills, dominated by wind miles. Wheat fields, apricot and caper cultures contribute to the prosperity of the community. Another special feature of the city is the ceramic. Among the worth seeing sights, there is the parish church Sant Miquel and the market hall behind the church. On Sundays, there are plenty of people on the market place and in the neighbouring streets. Most shops are opened, and the bars in the vicinity offer delicious Tapas. The visitors of the Monastery Mountain San Salvador and of the Castell de Santueri (400 m) will enjoy a wonderful view. If the weather is nice, your view reaches even Minorca, the Alcudia Bay and the most of the Eastern Coast.

  • The day price is valid for 8 people. 2 babies can be accommodates, as there are 2 extra baby beds. The baby beds cost 10 Euro per night. We offer protection against falling for young children. The final cleaning is 85 Euro. The security deposit is 150 Euro and needs to be paid at your arrival. The deposit will be returned to you at the end of your stay. Through the house owner, weekly cleaning service and linen change can be organized. You need to bring your own beach towels. The house is cleaned weekly, and towels and linen are changed also on a weekly basis. Upon request, we can also offer pool and garden service. The Majorcan house owner will take care of these services himself.
  • Booking possibilities: When you book, you will get a booking confirmation, the description of the address and information of car rentals per e-mail or mail. Once you got the confirmation, you have to pay 30% of the rental rate per cash on delivery to the house owner. The balance is to be paid in cash, upon arrival. If possible, you will be welcome by a German/English speaking person, on an appointed place, at any time, day or night, and you will be shown the way to your accommodation. You will receive the key and information about the house. This person is authorized to receive from you the balance against receipt, in the name of the house owner. We want to make sure that you feel secure as an internet booker.

  • There are 2 bedrooms on the ground floor and 2 bedrooms on the upper floor. From the hallway, you have access to a large deck. All the bedrooms have integrated closets, chests of drawers and storage room. All the rooms on the upper floor have pitched roofs with wooden beams. These have ceiling height, which means, you can move freely. The beautiful windows with wooden frames have inner window shutters. You can darken your room, if required.

A few stairs lead you to the entrance hall. On the entrance level, there is a light, big living room with Sat-TV, comfortable couch and leather armchair. There is a big eat-in kitchen with open fireplace. You can dine at a Finca table. Through a large glass door, you can reach the covered terrace. Behind the terrace, there is a big pool. Next to the kitchen, there is a household room with washing machine. Here, there is also enough room for children to play, or to write. On the right side of the entrance hall, there are 2 bedrooms with en-suite bathroom and a guest WC. On the upper floor, there are 2 other bedrooms, 1 with double bed and 1 with 2 single beds. The bathroom is in between the 2, with access from the hallway. All the bedrooms have integrated closets, chests of drawers and storage room. From the hallway, you can get onto the deck. There are wonderful views over the garden and the wild, romantic nature from all the rooms of the house.
