MOUNTAIN VILLA NEAR BEACH, NEAR SEORAKSAN, HIKING, SWIMMING AND MORE

South Korea Villa Rental Photos and Description

New Mountain Villa With Full Kitchen - Sleeps 4 - Near Beach And Seoraksan

Enjoy this mountain villa in Yangyang, a popular spot for mountain hikers, known especially for the beauties of southern Mt. Seoraksan. It is famous for the cleanliness of Donghori Beach, and Mt. Seoraksan Osaek Village.

This brand new Mountain villa has a full kitchen, HDTV, heated floors, queen bed, sleeper sofa, full bathroom and access to garden and glorious mountain side views.

Villa features a queen sized bed, sleep couch and room for 2 tatami mats on a heated floor

The view of the pine forest is beautiful, and the nearby bus terminal makes transportation very convenient to the beach. It is also close to Seorak Mountain, and many hikers come by here as they go through Daecheongbong to Seorak-dong from the inner Seorak area.

The white sand beach is about 15 minute drive and is 2km long, extending through Cheongho-dong, Joyang-dong, and Daepo-dong. The area open to the public is 0.45 km long and 75m wide. More and more visitors are flocking to the area because of the superb quality of the sand.

As a base to explore Seoraksan, it is a perfect spot. There are natural hot springs, some of which have been developed into spas and pleasure swimming halls. There are also golf courses which are popular because of their natural surroundings.

Autumnal tinted leaves blanketing Mt. Seoraksan in fall attracts a myriad of visitors in the fall and the beaches along the East Sea are popular in the summer. The nearby Yeongrangho lake is renowned for its beauty.

The reflection of Seorak-san and its Ulsan-bawi are particularly popular. There are a number of well-preserved Buddhist temples in the area.

Yeonggeumjeong is a popular pavilion built on the shores of Sokcho. It is not only popular for its magnificent views of the sunrise, but also for the sound of the sea which is thought to be particularly nice at this site. It is thought that the pavilion was built at this location for sonic reasons.

Naksansa or Naksan Temple is a Korean Buddhist temple complex in the Jogye order of Korean Buddhism that stands on the slopes of Naksan Mountain (also called 'Obongsan Mountain'). It is located about midway between Sokcho and Yangyang, Gawngwon Province, eastern region of South Korea. Naksansa is one of the few temples in Korea to overlook the Sea of Japan (East Sea).

There is no shortage of events in which to participate. Parades, stage shows, contests, races and various other forms of entertainment all fill the calendar during the festival. And what festival would be complete without row after row of food stalls.

Traveling through the region, you will discover the beauty of the land (with unfettered forests), and learn about the history of the people. There are a handful of cities, but none of them is highly developed or very large in size, so the region retains some of the natural beauty it has had for centuries, although the carving of the mountains for new roads coupled with severe rains have eroded some of the terrain's green splendor, leaving exposed dirt and unsightly concrete supports.

Still, lovers of nature will find everything from the majestic landscape of Seoraksan to rafting down the white waters of the region's strong rivers. All seasons bring tourists escaping the insanity of Seoul, but the changing colors of autumn draw the largest crowds. Winter attracts skiers, sledders, and ice fishermen. Summer brings campers and hikers, and spring attracts nature lovers to its blooming forests.
