The 1500sf apartment comfortably sleeps 4 people with a king sized bed and queen sleeper sofa. An aerobed and pack-n-play are available for additional guests upon request.

Apartment includes a garage with elevator to the main level. All doors, bathroom fixtures and amenities are 100% handicapped-accessible.

The PERFECT Getaway

Superlatives abound when speaking of this property and its owners. First and foremost, Bob is the consummate innkeeper -- amiable, welcoming and responsive. Comfort is more than assured. The South Woodstock (SoWo) location is ideal given its separation from the main town of Woodstock, though the "hustle and bustle" is only a short scenic ride away. SoWo is as bucolic as it comes. The country store is a perfect spot to have right across the street for provisions and sundries, and the Kedron Valley Inn is inspiring for its food, drink, ambiance and pond. The apartment is modern and well-appointed, and its location over the brook is about as soothing as it gets. Falling asleep to that sound every night is the perfect prescription for a city dweller. The two decks flanking the apartment allow for ample outdoor lounging, each beneficial at different times of the day depending on your mood. You literally could not dream up a better spot to get away from it all while still enjoying certain amenities. I cannot recommend this property enough and look forward to experiencing it in every season.

Exceeded expectations

After the first phone conversation I knew Bob, the manager and father of the owner, was a gem and we were delighted to find the apartment a gem as well. The South Woodstock area is quiet and so beautiful. The brook that runs almost directly under the unit babbles your cares away. The South Woodstock Country store has great breakfast items and is a must. 5 miles into town for all of the delights of Woodstock. Loved the Woodstock Farmers Market for hot meals to bring back. The unit looks as good as the pictures. There must be 35 windows in the place allowing for great cross breezes and cool nights for sleeping. While you go to Vermont for the natural beauty lets face it we all are tethered to our iPads. The wireless worked flawlessly. The real treat was the large flat screen and amped up sound system with +++ channels where we enjoyed the World Cup matches, the NBA finals and MLB. I know sounds like home...and it was for us for 7 nights.

Shhhhhhh ... A hidden gem ...

This is one of a few amazing apartments operated by a family from the Woodstock area, and the second one we've tried. This place is basically brand new, having opened in late 2013. It is very well decorated, with beautiful and good quality furniture, equipment, beds and so forth. The kitchen is also very well equipped and the space was very well thought through. Super for cooking while enjoying a conversation with the others in the party. Ideal for a family of four, but could accommodate 6. This apartment is on the second floor of a 3 storey former barn, and so it is surrounded by large decks, overlooking a charming small river immediately next to the house (must be fantastic in the summertime for drinks and meals). Beautiful light and sunshine in the house throughout the day. The house is very well located, 20 minutes from Killington, with a very nice convenience store right around the corner in South Woodstock and many high end grocery stores and restaurants 5 minutes away in Woodstock (my favourite village in VT, with Stowe). The owner/operator are super nice and very attentive to their guests. Amazing service. We will definitely be back!
