My wife and I purchased our first Tops'l property in 2001 and our family (2 daughters) have loved the Destin experience. As I approach retirement we were looking to upgrade to the top floor (penthouse as Deb refers to it) and finally got the opportunity earlier this year. It also gave us the opportunity to gut it and 'vacationize' it to a Beach feeling which we love and it's a great getaway for us to escape from the Chicago winters whenever we get a chance.
The Beaches won us over back in 2001 and it's the one place I can truly relax, whether on the beach with a book or sitting on my balcony with a glass as the sun sets.
Between the best white sandy beaches in the United States and the great clay tennis courts, hard to beat for a relaxing vacation.
