Guestbook comments from the owner
It was one of the best vacations I ever had and will go back. First, we had no trouble finding this place, it was only a short way off the main Pacific Highway. When we got there we were introduced to the owners and shown around, it was very impressive and I felt very relaxed and at home. The rooms were clean, the bed was incredibly comfortable and very private, the bathroom was immaculate and well supplied with clean towels. There is a kitchenette for those who like to cook. We decided to eat at the many amazing restaurants in the neighborhood such as Mama and Papa's, Citrus, Exotica, and La Bistro's all in walking distance. The food was outstanding and the prices were very reasonable. When we walked into the room there was complimentary basket of fresh fruit and breads and Costa Rica coffee for the morning wake. Unbelievable sunsets, are right off the balcony overlooking your own private jungle. We walk a three mile circuit in the early morning to get a feel of the surrounding mountainous neighborhood and saw a family of monkeys.. WOW... how SPECTACULAR. The room provided enjoyment in watching the tucans, aracaris, parrots, scarlet macaws, morpho butterflies and hummingbirds that check out the banana trees on the side of this cozy quite resort. The pool was very well maintained or choose to go to the many beaches in the area. The first thing I did was buy a hammock and go to the beach to read those books I have always wanted to read. We went kayaking in the mangroves, went to the Boruca Indian Reservation, saw humpback whales breaching out of the water and went deep sea fishing. I am not a person to fish but sometimes you just have to go for the experience and I did. I felt like I was in a natural sea world 30 miles off of Cano Island. I saw Turtles, with birds riding on the backs of them and Porpoises in a pod of three hundred...INCREDIBLE.... The people at Casa Roma Verde did an outstanding job advising us on directions, tours and safety.....I have recommend this place, to friends and relatives, it was clean, warm, friendly and educational.
