The proximity of this property to all of the best that San Diego has to offer is very compelling. It's location in a historic district above downtown offers easy access to the energy of the city, beaches and airport while offering privacy and easy parking.
Bus transit stops are located in and out of downtown within a half block of property on both sides of Market St. Access to 2 major freeways are located within 1 minute driving to of property.
I grew up in Northampton Massachusetts, a town with countless beautiful old homes and lots of woods. I spent countless days in my youth building tree forts never knowing that those 2 dynamics would intersect at this point. Upon arriving in San Diego with an interest in building and purchasing real estate, I became immediately interested in the largely neglected Victorian buildings in this area of town. This property became a labor of love for me many years ago and I hope that legacy will be carried forward by my 3 sons. My wife if Japanese, so our family often divides our time between 2 very different worlds, both with much to offer.
John Reardon purchased this apartment in 1991
It is our hope that our guests will appreciate the attention to detail and uniqueness of design that has been incorporated into every aspect of this property.
This property is strategically located close to most of San Diego's most popular destinations. It's central location and proximity to a newly revitalized downtown, airport, beaches and parks affords our guests the best possible experience while visiting San Diego.
Clean, comfortable, efficient and well equipped. Good location. John was very helpful in providing information about points of interest in the area. We would return, and recommend to others.
Our apartment on the back was perfect for us. All the amenities were as promised. The location was a driving distance to most restaurants and shopping which is straight up Market St. and easy to get around. The common space did get a little noisy one night but when asked, the other guests kept it down. San Diego is a beautiful City we loved touring Balboa Park, Little Italy, Olde Town and especially Coronado. We would recommend this home to friends.
We loved our sweet one bedroom apartment in the city. John, the owner, has thought of everything to make one's stay comfortable and complete. The apartment is carefully equipped, nicely decorated, clean and extremely efficient. Perfect location to see all there is to see in San Diego. We will definitely plan a return visit. Our thanks to John for his thoughtfulness and consideration.
Great location but recommend a rental car for seeing the sights. Stayed in a one bedroom and is a wonderful get away for a couple. Attention is paid to all details. We will return.
Excellent choice for anyone who desires to be near the heart of San Diego. Very clean property, very accommodating owner.
We reserved two rooms at this property it was perfect because both of our families had kids so we had plenty of room and could easily go back and forth between the rooms. The property had everything we needed a crib, high chair, stroller, boogie boards, beach towels, laundry. We walked to gas lamp one night it was about a 15 minute walk and we got a cab home for 7.00 not a bad deal! No problems finding parking at property. Neighbors were very friendly offering dinner options. John the owner was available to help when needed as well. Thanks for fun trip john your property is beautiful
