Located on Grand Elk Golf Course, this wonderful home is minutes away from SolVista Ski Resort and a short 15-20 minute drive to Winter Park. The central location of this home allows easy access to all of Grand County's attractions. Hot Sulphur Springs, our best kept secret, is a 15 minute drive. There are miles of nordic skiing terrain within short distances at Granby Ranch/SolVista, Snow Mountain Ranch, or Devil's Thumb Resort. Grand Lake and the three lakes Lake Granby, Shadow Mountain, and Grand Lake are all within a 15 minute drive. Outdoor activities include hiking trails, skiing, boating, biking, golfing, fishing, kayaking, rafting, and much, much more.
The home sleeps comfortably 10 to 12 people. There are two master suites, each with a queen bed, and a third bedroom with a full sized bunk bed (2 kids on each level.) The living room with adjoining deck overlooks the Grand Elk Golf Course and the valley. The house includes TV in the living room, board games, high-speed WIFI internet, gas grill on the deck, and jetted tub in the bathroom.
Nearby summer activities include nearly all forms of water recreation: boating, water-skiing, sailing, jet-skiing, fishing, swimming, as well as kayaking and rafting on the adjoining three lakes and their tributaries. Rocky Mountain National Park and the Arapahoe National Forest provide miles of hiking, skiing, and snowmobiling trails, as well as unparalleled wildlife watching opportunities. There are several golf courses in the area: Grand Lake's 18 hole public golf course just north of Grand Lake Village, Headwaters at Granby Ranch, Grand Elk, and Pole Creek. Other fun things include Rocky Mountain Repertory Theater Company performances at the community center of Grand Lake, Jazz Festival in Winter Park, horseback riding, historical homesteads and ghost towns, museums, great restaurants, antique stores, and much, much, more!
