On 30 hectars (75 acres) of land with garden all around, a large variety of trees including a forested area with oak trees, plants, flowers and a vegetable organic garden with green house, La Cifra´s main house has 4 large bedrooms that can host 21 guests + 2 in the service area. The master bedroom with chimney has a king size bed, walk-in-closest, private bathroom with heated floor and jacuzzi. All bedrooms have private bathrooms and A/C. Heating is central. There is a comfortable playroom with a pool table and a large kitchen with breakfast room. The main house is surrounded by covered corridors with an internal patio with fountain. The living / dining room has 12 ft high ceilings with a fireplace that has a view towards the countryside. There is a guest house that sleeps 2 with private bathroom.
I was born in Buenos Aires and am an avid outdoor sportsman that include mountain climbing, biking, trecking, snow and water skiing and fly-fishing in Patagonia. I am US educated (Master in Business Administration) and run my own company in Buenos Aires. I have traveled extensively around the globe but Buenos Aires is the place for me and my family. Every free time we have we now head to our farm outside town or go to Patagonia to practice our outdoor activities with so may friends we have there and our family.

The property was bought (empty) in 2003 and all the properties you see in the pictures were built in that year. We wanted to have a comfortable place where our family members and our friends felt both at home but keep their privacy and carry out theuir own activity. While some go horseback riding, others can play tennis (recently built court), be at the pool, play soccer or just go for a walk, or visit Capilla del Señor, the first historic town in the province of Buenos Aires. 'La Cifra' is completely isolated, yet only ´50 minutes away from Buenos Aires connnected by highway (only the last 5 km, 3 ml, is an improved dirt road suitable for any type of cars. The property is ´15 away from the town of Capilla, a beautiful and colorful place that has all types of grocery stores, restaurants, traditional coffee shops the church in central square and, if needed, medical attention. Around the property the are polo fields and farms with agriculture (this is a premium soy, sunflower and blueberry area). If one wants to go to the movies, specialty restaurants (Argentine steak, Italian, Japanese, Spanish, etc.) or visit a shopping mall, the city of Pilar is ´20 away by highway,
My wife and me love to be outdoors, and 'La Cifra' is that exceptional place if being in the middle of the countryside with its fantastic starry nights and open space (no direct neighbors as all surrounding properties are as or bigger than ours), surrounded by nature, birds and horses and yet less than 1 hour away from Buenos Aires. It is strategically located for friends to come over for the day, and spacious enough to have stay overnight. Kids have their own playground (and playroom) so everybody can go about their business without interfering with others. With nice weather we all sit and eat outside. It has A/C in every bedroom as well as in the living / dining room and kitchen. When it gets colder or weather is bad, we just enjoy being around the wooden fireplace (the house also has heating of latest technology).
La Cifra is located in the town of Capilla del Señor, the oldest historical site in Buenos Aires Province, with a tradition of horse breeding, international polo events, 'gaucho, asado (classic Argentine barbecue) and ranchlife style'. The backcountry (dirt) roads around the property have no traffic and are ideal for horseback riding, hiking or going on a bike tour between green fields and many species of birds.
