Casa Alondra is a well equipped, comfortably furnished 3 bedroom/2 bathroom house with 2 sunny terraces, ideal for sunbathing and alfresco dining. The end house in a row of four, it's situated in a quiet urbanisation built in the traditional Andalusian style, with well kept gardens and pleasant walkways. There's parking less than a minutes walk from the house should you wish to hire a car.

The house makes a perfect base for exploring Nerja and the surrounding area, and is ideal for a larger family or a discerning couple seeking the luxury of extra space.

There's a large communal swimming pool with grassy sunbathing area, and a separate toddler pool. The toddler pool is a rarity in Nerja, and it's perfect for little ones as it's only about 50cm deep. This pool is also surrounded by grass. There's a lifeguard present at the main pool at all times. The pools are open April - September only, but at other times of the year it's possible for you to have access to another pool, the same distance from the house.

OPTIONAL AIR-CON AND WIFI INTERNET IS AVAILABLE FOR A SUPPLEMENT.

GROCERY SHOPPING SERVICE: Why spend your valuable holiday time traipsing round the supermarket (especially if you have kids in tow) when you can order your groceries in advance and let us do the work for you? Simply choose which items you'd like from our extensive list and we'll have it ready and waiting in the house on your arrival.

You don't have to waste time finding a supermarket, getting to grips with an unfamiliar language on packaging, and queuing. Also, you don't have to carry your heavy bags back to your accommodation. For this reason people who have chosen not to hire a car will particularly benefit from this service, as will those arriving at the weekend (as all major supermarkets in Nerja are closed on Sundays except for 6 weeks during the summer).

You may just want a few drinks and nibbles for when you arrive and enough things to make breakfast the following morning, or you may prefer to do a big shop so you don't have to visit the supermarket at all during your stay.

AIRPORT TRANSFERS: We can arrange airport transfers for you at a cost of 67€ for up to 4 passengers or 105€ for a private minibus transfer for 5 or more people.

Please note: All areas of the house pictured are for your use. There is a further room off the sitting room that is locked. This houses the boiler and personal belongings of the owner.

Spacious, well equipped, clean townhouse with roof top terrace for privacy and catching sun rays. Recommend sensible footwear for walking to town centre and beaches. Parking costly in centre and free slots very difficult to obtain. Great communication with owners pre visit for all last minute queries.

Great stay in Casa Alondra, Nerja!

The villa was very clean and spacious and supplied the six of us with everything we needed for a good holiday, right down to bucket and spades for the children. Lisa and Simon, the owners next door, were very helpful and gave us information about the local area. As we arrived late at night we took advantage of Lisa's offer to get some supplies in for us beforehand and were very glad that we did. The swimming pool and paddling pool for the children was just a few minutes walk from the villa
We had a car so Nerja was very easy to get to and it is a beautiful town with lots of tapas bars and plenty of good restaurants. We also enjoyed going to Burriana beach most days with its bars, shops, restaurants and play areas for the children.
It was a very enjoyable stay and we would love to go back there.

Lovely Casa Alondra

Casa Alondra is a lovely house with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. We were just two people but we wouldn't hesitate to return as a family of five. It's spotlessly clean and comfortable. The patio is very pretty and private to sit out in the evenings. The owners Lisa and Simon live next door and are very helpful, friendly and attentive but unobtrusive. Communication with Lisa whilst booking was excellent and very professional indeed. The shopping service they offer is very useful and worked a treat. The urbanisation is beautifully maintained, well established and very quiet. We didn't use the pool as we prefer to go to the lovely beaches everyday. We know Nerja very well as it has been a favourite place to holiday for many years. it has many fantastic places to eat from tapas bars to more sophisticated dining in a beautiful traditional Spanish town. We hired a car as there is ample parking a minute away from the house and we decided to pay for a weekly parking ticket in a car park in town - quite expensive but worth doing if you use it everyday as we did.

We enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely return. Thank you very much to Lisa and Simon

A great stay in Nerja

The villa was clean and well appointed with a good standard of accommodation. We hired an air conditioner for the upstairs but didn't need to use it because the house seemed orientated to keep cool even when the temperature by day was 32deg outside. We would recommend the property to a friend and would stay here again. We travelled into Nerja for restaurants.

Ideal Nerja holiday base

We were looking for a comfortable house in a quiet location in Nerja well away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre. The walk into Nerja mentioned by other reviewers didn't concern us as we are keen walkers especially so after taking full advantage of Nerja's many fine restaurants.
The house was as described - well equipped and spacious - especially so for a couple but would provide adequate space for a larger family. There are shops and a small supermarket within a few minutes of the property as well as a few restaurants and cafes. The urbanisation is well maintained and feels absolutely safe and respectable.
Lisa and family live next door and it was reassuring to know that they were there should any problems have arisen. Communication between us before we left for Spain was effective and we found their shopping service very convenient.
All in all a perfect holiday complemented by superb October weather.

Very Comfortable Apartment

This is a nice property with all the home comforts that you might expect and both WiFi and Aircon were available at a surcharge - the front balcony got the sun from about 10am until 1.00pm while the roof terrace with sunbeds got the sun until about 4.00pm - there was also a communal pool about 2 minutes away although it was not open the whole day when the lifeguard was not present.
The apartment was a fair way from Nerja town centre if you were walking - probably 25 minutes more than 15 minutes stated in the property description - downhill on the way down and uphill on the return - best to walk down at night and get a taxi back.
There are no restaurants that we saw in the immediate vicinity of the apartment and you really need to head for the town centre unless you want to eat in - there was a bar/restaurant in the grounds of the Almijarra 3 but it was closed more than it was open
If you were going to the beach - again it's a fair walk to the Burriana beach - but it's a straightforward run down if you have a hire car.
The apartment was very close to both the Sunday car boot sale and the Tuesday market - both very much worth a look.
Don't ignore the small supermarket about 500 metres from the apartment - we were surprised at how good value it was and how well stocked
Our thanks to Lisa for a little welcome pack as we arrived very late on the first evening and also for checking in to see that everything in the apartment was OK

Nerja is without doubt the most attractive resort on the Costa del Sol, lacking the high rise development that typifies coastal areas further west. The town manages to maintain a perfect balance, offering a charming mix of traditional tapas bars and narrow cobbled streets, with the beaches, shops and amenities associated with a successful holiday resort.

The house is a 2 - 3 min drive/20 min walk to the centre of Nerja. The urbanisation has a bar, and the nearest shop (small but surprisingly well stocked) is approximately 250 metres away. Bread and croissants are baked fresh every day. Dining on the terrace is a delight, with birdsong at breakfast time and swifts swooping overhead in the evenings. On Tuesday/Sunday you can hunt for bargains in the town's street market/car boot sale, which is just around the corner.

Golf: Baviera Golf near Caleta de Velez is 15 - 20 mins drive from Nerja. It's an even course characterized by its wide greens with many movements and the great variety of obstacles which offer a big range of strokes and an ideal design for all types of handicap. The variety of holes and the unsurpassable views both to the Mediterranean sea and the mountains contribute to make you enjoy and share an unforgettable day.

Ski: The Sierra Nevada ski resort is less than 2 hours drive away. Usually open from mid-November to mid-April it's very reasonably priced compared to other European ski resorts.
