Live like royalty in our grand Parisian home, elegantly appointed with tasteful furnishings, fine antiques and an eclectic art collection. Incredibly spacious at 1200 square feet, it's a perfect place for those looking for truly spectacular surroundings and every creature comfort.
Temple is located in the heart of the lively Marais, filled with chic boutiques, galleries & restaurants. The apartment offers an amount of space that is rare for in this very old, historic section of the city.
The apartment has retained many of the building's original features, including antique polished stone floors, ancient beams and soaring 12 foot ceilings. Located on the building's second and third floors (with elevator), a long wall of windows means that there's always lots of light, along with an absolutely stunning view of the Parisian streetscape. In addition to a very large living/formal dining area, there is a spacious, well equipped chef's kitchen with a separate breakfast nook.
An old staircase leads you to a spacious master bedroom with queen bed, and a second bedrooms which can be made up as one queen ore two twins. There is a high quality queen sleeper sofa in the living room that can accommodate two additional guests. On the Second (bedroom) level, there is a full bath with shower, and an additional shower and separate W/C. The first floor has an additional W/C.
The neighborhood was known as a location for artisans in the past, and is still home to a large selection of jewelry shops. It is conveniently located adjacent to Marais Village, parking, and Paris' oldest open air market, the Marche des Enfants Rouge, where you can pick up provisions for the perfect Parisian home-cooked meal.
We offer luxurious, high quality linens and towels, a reasonably priced airport transfer service, and a Paris based American manager who can assist with restaurant and tour reservations, and is on hand should any unexpected issues arise.
There s no words to describe this apartment ..the greetings from David, the apartments furniture, location and all was perfect .i didn't expect it to be that beautiful and what I saw was above my expectations ..we also walked to everything..amazing amazing amazing
This was such a great place for us to stay for our time in Paris. The warm greeting from David (and fresh fruit and vegetables) to all the recommendations from the owners to the flat itself made this a wonderful place. The photos don't really do justice - the rooms have sweeping ceilings and so many details that make this a jewel. The bedrooms are quite large and fresh with a ton of sunlight. They're also upstairs to if some people wanted to stay up later, they could without disturbing others who needed an early night's sleep. It was the perfect place for our group (4).
We were lucky enough to stay in this lovely home in late April of 2013. It was everything one could ask for and more: spacious, delightfully decorated and peppered with lovely pieces of art and furniture (personal favorite was the well-worn butcher block table on the second floor). The location is superb, with several metro lines, a grocery store, shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. We walked everywhere, including to the Place des Vosges, Pompidou, Notre Dame, even the Louvre (it's doable, but really, just hop on the metro). Don't miss the Marche des Enfants Rouges, where the crêpes are amazing and the guy who makes them is even better. Michael was responsive, easy to work with and helped arrange transportation. We were met by David, who patiently put up with an airport delay. I'd like to thank our hosts for the chance to feel like locals. There's no better way to enjoy Paris.
