Why Leslie Sitton chose Pagosa Springs
We live in the Oklahoma City area but have been vacationing as a family in SW Colorado for many years, either camping or renting houses or condos. With our kids grown, we wanted to find a townhome with plenty of room for a large crowd near two of our favorite features - lakes and mountains - but within walking distance to amenities such as grocery stores and restaurants. We found it, we bought it and now we are pleased to share it with others until we can retire and enjoy it 24/7.
What makes this townhome unique
Close to two large Wilderness Areas and a National Monument (Weminuche, South San Juan and Chimney Rock, respectively), Pagosa Springs is the ideal base for a variety of outdoor adventure. Fishing, backpacking, day hikes, mountain-biking, riversports on the San Juan, cross-country skiing -- all are nearby. Typically topping all of Colorado in snow levels, Wolf Creek Ski Resort is a scenic 25 mile drive from the townhome. Other local diversions include two popular outdoor music festivals, shopping, two brew-pubs, great restaurants... all in a small mountain town atmosphere.
