Nice and large apartement in a quiet area

This is a nice, clean, large, friendly and practical apartement. The kitchen is practical and well equipped, the dining table is very nice and there is a fine terrace. The area is mostly quiet, nice with large houses and gardens, quite close to Funchal centre. There are no shops in the nearest area, except a bakery. There is easy to find a parking place, but the streets around are very steep. You walk easily down to the old town in 15 minutes, but back again we preferred a taxi - costs 6-7 euros. The bus No 21 from the centre to Botanic gardens runs somewhat infrequent in the evening. The owner was reliable and provided good service. We will clearly reccommend this apartement, and we well rent it again when we go back to Madeira.'
Owner's Response: Please note that there is a small supermarket next door to the bakery, which is usually open everyday, including at weekends.
Buses at main road, close to the apartment, are not running at full timetable due to some roadworks around. But soon they are expected to return to normal frequency.
