This resort has been providing families and outdoor enthusiasts with the best that Central Oregon has to offer for over 40 years. Come and experience it all at this beautiful Northwest contemporary with all the conveniences of home, plus luxurious touches throughout that you'll enjoy during your stay. Floor-to-ceiling windows, two fireplaces, an eclectic collection of framed wall art, and a gourmet kitchen - these are just a few of the features that will make your Black Butte Ranch stay a treat.
The main level offers a sunken living room with tall ceilings, large windows, and wonderful wood-burning fireplace. The new large flat screen TV without cable, a DVD player, and small DVD library are just waiting for all of your entertainment needs. Or you may just find the best entertainment is relaxing on the comfy seat cushions, while looking out the wall of windows, and enjoying morning coffee or a glass of wine in the evening.
The kitchen and dining room have dazzling hardwood floors and more windows looking out into the trees and meadow. There's a wood stove in the dining room for both ambiance and warmth, and table seating for four. Right nearby in the kitchen, there are extra stools at the breakfast bar and plenty of counter space for whipping up delicious vacation meals. A skylight lets in a lot of natural light, and besides all of the usual gadgets, there's also a blender and coffee grinder for your use.
A glass door leads out to the large deck overlooks the natural spring and provides tranquil sounds of water below, with Black Butte's meadow stretching out into the distance. The gas barbecue is all ready for your cook-outs and al fresco dining. In the afternoon, it's also the perfect spot to put your feet up and get into a good book.
The main level has a lovely master bedroom - with a queen bed and en-suite bathroom with a jetted tub and separate shower, it's quite a peaceful and relaxing spot. The lucky recipient of this room will also be treated to amazing views right off the deck. This level has a second bedroom with a queen bed.
Upstairs, there is another queen bedroom, a reading room with cozy, overstuffed chairs, and an adjoining room with a twin bed. The upstairs is ideal for family members or a couple with small children that want to share a more private area of the house. The views out to the Butte and over the meadow are spectacular. With its three bedrooms and loft, this home will sleep seven guests comfortably; the provided washer & dryer make it easy to keep packing light.
Outside, there's a wonderfully landscaped yard to discover, a free-standing porch swing, and lots of space for the kids to play. Beyond the yard, Black Butte Ranch offers outdoor adventures for everyone in your group. In the winter, you can make the short 20 minute drive to Sisters and Hoodoo Ski area for downhill sporting at its best. The surrounding National Forest land has many trails for both cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling in the winter, as well as hiking and biking in the summer.
A couple of white water rafting outfitters have pick-up and drop off service at the Rec Barn at Black Butte Ranch. Plan a family adventure they won't soon forget with a fun-filled half day McKenzie or Deschutes river trip. Black Butte Resort also has two golf courses, tennis courts, horseback riding, and five swimming pools. You will definitely have no problem finding something to do here! On days that you don't feel like cooking, you can head to the Lodge Restaurant for fine dining, or to Robert's Pub for casual plates. For even more options, visit the cute western-style shops and cafes in Sisters, and Bend's popular breweries and restaurants are a mere 45 minutes from your door.

*When you turn into the Black Butte Ranch resort, you will need to register at the Welcome Center and pay the $5 per person, per day recreation fee directly to the resort. The Welcome Center will have your gate access card. If you are arriving late and the Welcome Center is closed, you will need to pick up your gate access card and passes at the Police Station across the street. Also please not that the resort does not permit motorcycles within the ranch or on any of the Black Butte properties.**
