Cannon Beach House Rental Photos and Description
House, 2 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 6)
Cannon Beach limits us to only one rental every 14 days, so this house has limited checkin and checkout dates. We offer discounts for longer stays! You can use the online calendar to make a reservation or give us a call at 503-345-9399 if you have any questions.
This charming, two-bedroom wood-shingled cottage in the exciting and scenic coastal burg of Cannon Beach has an artisan fence, covered rear porch with dining tables, and a stunning wood fireplace with rock facade. In this newly remodeled home with room for six, you'll be just a block from the many shops, restaurants, and galleries that make Cannon Beach so popular. Iconic sites like Haystack Rock are just minutes away.
Step under the portico with lemongrass trim, through the blue door, and into the big living area. From the clever porthole window to the knotted hardwood floors, the decor is minimal, yet comfortable and friendly. Slanted ceilings, supported by dark wood beams, give the area a spacious feel. Wisely designed and beautiful, the kitchen incorporates the kitchen with up-to-date appliances and gorgeous countertops made from Carrara marble - efficient, functional and elegant! There's free WiFi for your laptop, and a DVD player for those times when you're stuck inside. When it's warm, refresh yourself in the unique, outdoor shower.
There are two bedrooms in Lemongrass, each with a decor that's fun, colorful, and edgy. Both have queen beds piled with soft pillows and linens. A full bath is accessible from both, and one of the rooms has a big, flat screen TV for late-night viewing. Have a seat on the comfy couch and read a couple chapters of that novel before bed, or make an entry in your journal at the writing desk. Even the laundry room is thoughtfully designed, complete with marble counter tops, lots of cabinets, and a big sink with a country faucet.
When you stay in Cannon Beach, bring the camera! Haystack Rock is one of the most photographed natural features along the coast. Along the shore is a world of exotic creatures that inhabit the many tide pools, just waiting for you to zero in with the lens for some great shots. There's more amazing scenery at Hug Point and Ecola State Park, both less than 15 minutes away. Bring the clubs too! Depending on how far you're willing to drive, there are six courses spread from Gearhart to the north down to Manzanita in the south. And you'll save some cash: your stay at this home comes with a state park pass that's good through 2014, so you don't even have to worry about parking or entrance fees when you head out for a hike.
