In addition to classic curb appeal, you'll be just as impressed as you step up to the front porch and inside. Featuring a split level floor plan, the kitchen, living room, and dining room are on the main floor, with bedrooms and a large play room / family room with sleeper sofas downstairs.
The spacious living room is bright and open with comfortable furniture and a gas fireplace for extra coziness on those chilly coast evenings. A 50 inch flat screen TV features HDTV with DVR. Visit Universal Video in Seaside or pack your favorite DVD to pop in the player for movie night. There's even a collection of discs to pick from. All you'll need to do is pop the popcorn!
The dining room table seats eight, with access to the outdoor deck through sliding glass doors right nearby. Out there you'll find another table for dining, socializing, or just relaxing with your morning coffee. There's also a gas grill stored in the garage for cookouts on nice days.
The kitchen boasts beautiful countertops, with lots of space for meal preparation. Start the morning with some buckwheat and berry pancakes or end the day with a roast chicken. There's even a coffee grinder for freshly ground beans and a dishwasher to make the cleanup for all your culinary projects quick and easy.
A flight of stairs takes you to the home's three bedrooms, all with queen beds and comfortable bedding. A full bathroom has a jetted tub and is easily shared between two of the bedrooms. The master bedroom has its own bathroom with shower. In that bedroom, there's also a futon for relaxing during the day, or for small children to sleep in the same room with their parents at night.
This home will comfortably sleep 12 guests. Additional amenities include a stereo and cd player, as well as a crib, high chair, and pack n' play for younger guests. There's also a separate laundry room with a sink, in case your beachwear gets a little sandy as you explore the area.
One flight of stairs down from the living area will take you to a comfortable play room / family room. Play board games, watch DVDs on the flat screen TV, or hang out and socialize in this large space. You can even let the kids take over this room while the adults hang out and have fun upstairs. In the garage, you'll find a ping pong table for for even more entertainment options on rainy days.
In the backyard, there's a fire pit for roasting marshmallows, making s'mores, or just telling ghost stories late into the night - all while you listen to the sounds of the waves nearby. While sitting out in the tree-lined yard, you may even spot deer and elk out foraging for food. The home is short walk to the Sunset Beach State Recreation Park. From here, visitors have direct access to the Pacific Ocean with expansive, picturesque views all the way from Cape Disappointment in Washington to the north and Ecola State Park in Cannon Beach to the south.
History buffs will appreciate Sunset Beach's trailhead access to the historic Fort-to-Sea Trail. This is a six and a half mile route that recreates the experience Lewis and Clark and the Corps of Discovery encountered as they traveled between Fort Clatsop and the Pacific Ocean during the winter of 1805-6.
On days when you've had your fill of beach combing, kite flying, or historic Lewis & Clark trail re-enactments, make the short 10 mile drive to Astoria for a day of gallery browsing, a visit to the Columbia River Maritime Museum, lunch at Fort George Brewery, and maybe even a quick drive across the mint green colored Astoria-Megler Bridge to Washington state. At 4.1 miles long, it's the the longest continuous truss bridge in North America.
No matter if you spend your vacation huddled around the firepit on cool, crisp evenings, walking the beach looking for shells, or walking along the Astoria Riverwalk trail, you'll certainly find this Warrenton vacation rental one of the highlights of your trip!

We spent 4 nights at the Hidden Treasure for my sons 18th birthday. The house was even more beautiful in person! It had everything that we needed. The downstairs was perfect for a "man cave" for the 4 teenage boys we had with us, and the ping pong table kept them busy. I would definitely stay here again!
This home accommodated our large group with ease. With the house split into 3 levels and having two very large family rooms (one on each of the lower levels) we had plenty of space. The bedrooms were all cozy, and 2 of the rooms connected to a balcony. I really enjoyed waking early and sitting out on the balcony to watch the wildlife that would pass by the home. The backyard was a lot smaller than the picture on the site made it seem and their are neighbors on both sides of the home (which we were not expecting), but all in all that really didn't matter. We enjoyed our stay at this home and plan to revisit to the Hidden Treasure.
I recently stayed at the Hidden Treasure house with five friends of mine for a girls weekend. The house was clean and well-stocked -- I don't know if I've ever seen such a well-labeled kitchen! The house was spacious and easily fit the six of us with plenty of room to spare!! We spent a day in Astoria and a day on the beach -- the house was easy to find and in a great location. Overall, we were quite satisfied with our stay in Warrenton. We had an issue with the microwave, but the rental company responded quickly. Given this issue, my only (minor) recommendation to the owner would be to add a tea kettle to the kitchen appliances.
We are three "older" sisters who rent a house near Astoria every year on our Mother's birthday to spend time together in her memory and in her hometown. The Hidden Treasure is far-and-away the best place we've stayed: quiet, accommodating, comfortable, close to the beach - all the things we enjoy. The Vacasa staff is extremely helpful and kind. We highly recommend this "getaway" and hope to return for many more years to come!
The house was clean, plenty of room, ideal location, included all the dishes, linens etc that we needed. Loved that the house included cable TV and wireless connections. I highly recommend this place and I would stay here again!
Nice small group or extended family retreat
This home is nicely furnished and has a wonderful layout for groups or extended family gathering. We were thankful for the washer and dryer that kept our group in dry and clean clothes
