Property description

This centrally located apartment has one comfortable bedroom with nice french doors facing to a cozy living room with lots of natural light facing a very quiet street. It has also a separate kitchen with seating area perfect for your meals after a long day of easy city exploring. It is located in the geographic center of the city and that makes easy to get anywhere. This is the ideal location for visitors to explore san francisco and having central located home base. Businesspeople also will love it if they are looking for a place away from the hustle of downtown but still convenient to get there with only a few tram stops, you can even walk to the financial district and downtown. For those having meetings in silicon valley, the highway 101 exit is just two blocks from here.

The master bedroom has a queen tall size bed. The bathroom en-suite features a nice shower. The fully equipped kitchen is very convenient. Plenty of appliances, full fridge and gas stove. All the utensils for cooking and preparing meals are provided. The living room & dining room are shared in the same open space with the kitchen. The sofa can convert to an almost full size bed for one extra guest or two little kids. The bedroom and living room are separate with glassed french doors with curtain. As all our properties high speed wireless internet is provided. The tv has basic channels.

The apartment is central, clean and with everything you need to have a relaxing and enjoyable stay in san francisco.

Location description

Neighborhood: located on the border of mission, hayes valley and soma neighborhoods. The three trendiest areas in the city! It is very central with easy access to downtown or castro via muni (sf subway, only 2 stops away!) light train, bus or even within walking distance. You will be in the middle of the trendy shops and bars of the hayes valley, the new tech companies of soma and the melting pot of the mission.

Mission. The mission has the best weather in the city, especially around this block. It is frequently warm and sunny when the rest of the city can be cold and foggy. In addition to that, it is less windy than many neighborhoods.

Residents in the mission are incredibly diverse. Artists, street people, professionals and the general sf lot mix. Its gentrification is making it one of the most desirable neighborhoods in the city.

Hayes valley. This san francisco vacation rental is located in the heart of hayes valley. Unlike some other parts of san francisco, hayes valley has managed to retain a sense of community and a nonexclusive feel despite the fast build-up and high price tags. Some of the businesses that braved the less-than-savory days are still around, such as the hayes street grill, now twice its original size. But many of the shops sprouted up in the '90s, making hayes valley a real destination spot. The combination results in a wide diversity in clientele. While high-end san franciscans sip $7 cocktails at absinthe, down the street many are powering down an entire meal for around the same price at flipper's. Now, tourists also head here specifically for the shopping, for one-of-a-kinds like a buffalo-leather chair or an exclusive sue wong art deco gown. The hayes valley commercial sector is young in age, but adult in style. As a destination, it serves theater and symphony patrons as well as high-end fashion and furnishing shoppers.

Soma: south of market is a huge district, sprawling from the embarcadero to eleventh street, between market and townsend. The neighborhood is a patchwork of warehouses, swanky nightspots, residential hotels, art spaces, loft apartments, furniture showrooms and the notorious internet companies. Although a lot of building has gone on in recent years, it is still not densely developed. You can walk several desolate blocks before suddenly finding a hopping restaurant. Most of the action can be found in three general areas: by south park and the giants ballpark, around the sf moma and yerba buena gardens, and over by folsom and eleventh street. Soma, as it's known, sounds a little like a soho wannabe, and it does have a strong downtown vibe.

Parking situation

There is no parking in the building. Street parking is free but limited to two hours during the day and free at night. There is no need for a car with this location. You are literally 15 minutes away from most of the san francisco landmarks.
