Casal dos Agapantos is a fantastic Villa with a leafy garden and pine forest area of 12,000 m2, completely walled, situated in the Natural Park of Sintra, only 20 minutes from Cascais and Sintra, and 45 minutes from Lisbon. It also bears the advantage of being only 1500 meters from beautiful white sandy beaches such as Praia das Maçãs, Praia Grande, Praia Pequena, Azenhas do Mar, Praia da Adraga, Praia da Ursa (naturist), among others.
The garden is full of flowers and large shrubs, with a huge grass area where you can enjoy unforgettable holidays of pleasure and tranquillity. In addition it has 2 swimming pools, one for adults (10x4 meters) and another one for children (5 x 2 metres).
The Villa has 6 rooms, with a capacity up to 12 people, 3 bathrooms, 1 social toilet, a fully equipped kitchen, a living room with fireplace and a dining room with a table for 12 people. The pleasant terrace facing the dining room is decorated with dining and rest furniture, as well as a small outdoor fireplace.
There is a ping-pong room where you can also find a static bicycle.
Surroundings
From here you can walk, drive to the beaches or take a bus (the bus stop is only 200 metres away). You can also have a ride in the beginning of the century tram, which has been rehabilitated and now circulates between Praia das Maçãs and Sintra.
The surrounding beaches have very nice restaurants with good gastronomy. At home you will find a file with the names, locations and phone numbers.
In the village of Colares, (700 metres from the Villa) the Adega Regional de Colares (well-known wine cellar) famous for its Ramisco variety, offers wine tasting.
In Sintra, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, you can visit its ravishing gardens and historic monuments (the Royal Palace, Pena Palace, Monserrate Palace, Quinta da Regaleira, Seteais Palace – nowadays converted into a Hotel - the Countess d’Elda Chalet, the Moorish Castle and the Capuchos Convent).
When driving to Cascais you can visit Cabo da Roca (the westernmost point of Europe) with a magnificent view over the Atlantic Ocean. Following the route to Cascais is the famous Guincho Beach, well-known windsurf and kite surf spot.
Do you enjoy playing golf? Several greens are available at a short distance, such as: Beloura (15 km) Penha Longa (15 Km) Estoril (20 Km) Belas Club de Campo (30 km) and Carregueira (30 km).
You can also play tennis at Praia das Maçãs, which offers 4 lightened courts e tennis teacher availability.
If you intend to have your meals at home, your supply of food items can be purchased at the local grocers, shops and markets of Colares, Praia das Maçãs, or Mucifal (only 5 minutes from the Villa).
Housing characteristics
Outdoors: barbecue, terrace equipped with garden furniture and umbrellas, 2 swimming pools (one for adults, another one for children) with chairs, tables and umbrellas, lawn garden, mountain views, 11700 m2 of pine forest.
Distribution: 4 double rooms, 1 bedroom with bunk beds for adults with bathroom (bathtub/shower), 1 bedroom with bunk beds for children (up to 1, 60 m) and a baby cot, 1 bathroom with independent bathtub and shower, 1 bathroom with shower, 1 social toilet, 1 separate kitchen, 1 extra cot and a sofa bed in the living room. All rooms have closets.
Indoors: Hall with closet to store sports equipment (golf, tennis etc.) Living room with fireplace, TV, satellite, DVD, wireless Internet, Ipod music system, dining room with a table for 12 people, central heating, hair dryer, fire extinguisher.

The Villa is fully equipped.
Weekly linen change. In the middle of the week, the bathrooms will be cleaned and towels changed.
All household toiletries are provided by the owner.
