Vicki purchased this house in 2013
The location on the north side of the island minimizes traffic hassle in season and provides great access to the Marco River and the Gulf beyond in only 10 minutes time.
The location of the house on the north of the island reduces traffic hassle during season and provides great access to local shops, restaurants, grocery stores and more.
House was immaculate. Perfect location with a wide, long view of the waterway.
Pool was heated and well maintained. Grounds were beautiful.
Split floor plan was appreciated.
The home was easy to find in a great neighborhood and on a Court. Sidewalks made it great for walking anytime and the pool at the house was nice. We were able to see manatee's and a dolphin just out the back door in the canal. The owners were very kind and came right away when we called for extra blankets. The only complaint was that the ocean beach is not easily accessible from Marco Island. I also recommend Michelebob's for lunch or dinner and Chocolate Strawberry Ice Cream for dessert.
We had an awesome time staying here. I cant say enough good things about the house. If you are thinking about renting this house...DO IT! Here are a few things you might want to know before renting. The beds were very comfortable, we all slept very well. The neighborhood was quiet and the landscaping was just breathtaking. The pool was nice and it had tables and chairs (enough for everyone) The view from the pool deck was beautiful. The house has everything you could possibly need for your vacation and then some! The dinning room table was huge and everyone got to eat together. ( I could not find this in any other house) When we got there we thought the kitchen was small but as it turns out it was the most functional kitchen I've ever been in. Also the house has 3 bathrooms which was a big bonus. We loved the way the bedrooms were laid out, it made the house really private. It also had two separate sitting areas (one large , one small) which turned out to be very handy and one of the sitting rooms has another glass table that was great for cards. The only draw back was the one sitting room that had the TV was the small one. We couldn't all watch TV unless we sat at the table. So many rentals let the houses get run down, not this one. Everything was clean and neat. We enjoyed our time there and would love to go back.
We had a great time at this property. It is set up well for 3 couples and had everything we needed for a relaxing week. We spent most of our time boating and at the beach but when we were home, we spent our time outside in and around the pool. We were also able to tie up our rented pontoon boat at the house. The location is perfect for boaters as it’s close to the marinas and a short ride out of the canal. I recommend this property for couples looking to fish but it’s also a great family rental.
This house was in great condition and well kept. It was clean and well equipped as well. The furniture in the main area with the flat screen TV could have been more comfy and arranged better for TV viewing, but that was our only complaint. The location was the best that we've had yet and we have stayed in Marco numerous times!
Our stay here was very enjoyable. The house and pool are lovely and clean, and everything a family needs is available here. The master bed is luxuriously comfortable and the master bath is very private. We had a wonderful vacation.
North Marco is 'Olde Marco'. Unique shops, fine dining, quiet streets and tranquil marinas. Two minutes up the road is Rose Marina where you can rent boats, buy bait and tackle or even take a sunset dinner cruise aboard the Marco Princess.
