My name is Shauna Rumel and I'm the owner of the Picnic Point cabin. Thanks for taking a look at my vacation rental. My son loves the sled hill in the winter and enjoys the pool in the summer. We reside in Seattle which is an hour and fifteen minutes from the cabin. We hope you will enjoy the property as much as we do. Again, thanks for looking!
Shauna Rumel purchased this cabin in 2005
It's so peaceful at the cabin and the view is breathtaking. A cabinet builder put together the finishing touches on the cabin, making it one of a kind. Most of the furniture is custom made. From the pine tree railings to the tree trunk walls, this cabin has oodles of character. It's home away from home.
The view, custom wood work, furniture and the décor. Pure serenity!
My wife and I rented the cabin for 2 nights! It was exactly as advertised. We spent 2 days doing nothing but relaxing. We went on a walk, watched a bunch of movies and got some very needed rest. The weather was beautiful and the view was amazing! We watched a gorgeous sunset over the snow-capped mountains!!! We will stay at this cabin again! The owner was awesome and very quick to respond to a couple of questions I had! There are other cabins nearby, but it seemed like we had the whole mountain to ourselves!!! Great stay! Thanks Shauna!
We just returned from 2 nights at the Picnic Point Cabin. It is awesome! I went with my wife, 3yr old and newborn. We had a great stay, and the cabin was even better than the pictures! I would not hesitate to rent this cabin again when I return. Easy to reserve and great communication with the owner. A+ stay!
A true treat for a family get away. Beautiful cabin with an amazing view! Cozy with all the mountain get away attributes! The reservation and booking process is very easy and simple. Shauna was amazing! She communicated with us very well and answered every question we had with a quick response. I just spent 18 months in the Middle East and I couldn't have imagined a better place to re-connect with my family! Thanks Shauna!!!!!!
Cozy and country feel with comfy furnishings. The view blew us away and the wind almost did a few times too! It was amazing seeing the trees swaying in the winds. Had mom & baby deer visit for a while and watched hawks & ravens soar overhead. This is the place to get away for peace and quiet. Shauna was helpful and accommodating. Highly recommended.
My son and I stayed two nights in this lovely cabin. It was all we had hoped for...gorgeous views, quiet location, warm and inviting cabin, all at an affordable rate. We spent hours on the deck reading and playing cards while enjoying the sounds of nature all around us. The owner was kind and accommodating. Loved it! I look forward to my next visit!
We enjoyed the views, deck and comfortable beds in this lovely cabin. It is a mountain cabin and is fairly well stocked. The cabin is secluded, located up a long gravel road. If you enjoy the mountains and solitude, this is the spot for you. I thoroughly enjoyed watching the migratory birds in the trees off of the deck! The beds were comfortable, the bathroom and kitchen small, but functional. The special lighting around the living and dining rooms was wonderful and well done.
Community swimming pool open during the summer. Fishing on the Yakima river. Several lakes for boating. Close to Snoqualmie pass for skiing and snowboarding. Several trails for snowmobiles and dirt bikes. Great hiking, nature walks and scenery.
