The location is premium with our large 900 Square foot 1-bedroom corner condo! Located on the 2nd floor of the Shavano Building at the village at Breckenridge Resort, you are only a 20 yard walk out the door to the Quicksilver lift at the base of Peak 9. True Ski in/Ski out! This makes our condo the closest one-bedroom to the Quicksilver Lift. Yet, still only steps to shopping, great restaurants and downtown Breckenridge/Main Street. The Village ski School can be accessed with a very short walk through the heated garage…so you don’t even need to put your coat on if you are dropping your little ones off at ski school. The ski school teaches the beginners right outside the Shavano building so be sure to check out your child’s progress while heading in for lunch or at the end of the day. After your long day of skiing or boarding, head down to the indoor/outdoor heated pool or slip into one of the four outdoor hot tubs.
Do you need a break from the slopes one day? There is the Town’s Free Ride Shuttle which can take you anywhere in Breckenridge including the public Ice Skating Rink or The Breckenridge Recreation Center (which offers climbing walls, racquetball, basketball, indoor tennis courts, weight rooms, exercise machines, and an indoor pool). There is also the free Summit Stage Shuttle that can transport you to the outlets in Dilllon where you can shop or go up the street and catch a movie at the movie theater. For the kids, the Mountaintop Children’s Museum is located right in the Village complex under the Village Hotel (and fyi…they offer a “kids night out” on Tues, Fri, and Sat so the kids can have fun while the parents have a quiet dinner). From the condo, a great sledding hill is located just 5 blocks away or Frisco (a 20 minute drive) has an adventure park and Nordic center which has a tubing hill and cross country skiing available.
The summer at our condo is just as exciting! We are within minutes from miles of Rocky Mountain biking and hiking trails. Enjoy family fun at the Peak 8 Fun Park including the Alpine Superslide, Gold Runner Alpine Coaster, mini golf, Mineshaft Maze, super bungee trampoline, rock climbing wall and more. Other adventurous activities in the area include mine tours, white river rafting, and horseback riding. Or simply have a relaxing day of shopping on Main Street, go for a dip in the pool and then enjoy a drink with the crisp mountain air from our balcony overlooking the gazebo and courtyard landscaped with beautiful mountain flowers.
Our 2nd floor corner unit (Approx 900 sq ft) overlooks the gazebo and courtyard. There are no neighbors on either side only across the hall. It has a newly updated bathroom, updated floors, doors, windows, blinds, most furniture, 2 flat screen TV’s, a DVD player, and free WiFi. The queen size bed in the bedroom has an upgraded mattress and the pull out sofa in the living room has a new mattress. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, dishes, silverware, and cookware. Towels and linens are provided. Firewood for the fireplace is available and located in the heated garage.
The Village at Breckenridge Resort offers an indoor/outdoor pool, hot tubs, steam and sauna rooms, exercise facility with showers (all accessible through the heated garage), and outdoor gas fire pit. There is a pay washer/dryer located just down the hall from our condo.
Check-in for our condo is conveniently located at the front desk in the Peak 9 Inn building of the Resort. There is 24- hour service available through the front desk including a bell staff, concierge, guest service center, and any key assistance you may need. Heated underground parking is available for $16 per night during ski season but is free in the summer. The only other charges would be a $75 cleaning fee and the 11.675% state and hotel tax.

We are Tom and Cindy. Originally from the Northeast, we moved to Denver, Colorado in 2000 and lived there 8 years. We fell in love with Breckenridge because of the quaint town, friendly people, and of course fabulous skiing! We bought a studio in the Village in 2003 and loved going up on weekends. We decided we wanted something a little larger and bought this 900 square foot 1-bedroom with my mother, Paulette, as a part owner in 2007. It fits our family perfectly! We currently live with our two children in Tennessee and Paulette resides in Virginia.

Location, Location, Location! When our family travels we really enjoy parking the car and not using it until we leave. To be able to walk out the door and hop on the ski lift, then just walk across the street to our favorite Mexican restaurant, Mi Casa, for dinner.....well....it's just our ideal vacation.
What makes this condo unique
We knew we wanted The Village at Breckenridge complex for it's location. We didn't even look elsewhere. We picked this particular condo for two reasons. One....it was in the Shavano building which was the closest building to the ski lift and our favorite buidling. Two...it was on the second floor. After staying in our studio (other condo in complex)several times, we found out you can sometimes wait a long time for the elevator. When it's a sunny fresh powder day, we just don't have the patience:). Walking up or down one flight of stairs with skis or a snowboard is manageable. We are not sure we could manage more stairs after a long day of skiing/snowboarding:) However, it was completely outdated. 70's Everything! We immediately needed to replace doors, the floors, paint, buy new furniture, and get rid of that popcorn ceiling!:). In May of 2013 we were able to re-do the bathroom and in May 2014 we renovated the kitchen.
