I grew up on ranches in the midwest, loved animals and the great outdoors. Moving to the Rocky Mountain West over 40 years ago, I fell in love with the mountains and the wonderful mountain climate. Although I have always loved to travel, Red Lodge is the most beautiful place in the world to live and I love to share it with our guests. For over 35 years, my real estate brokerage business allowed me to see some of the most beautiful places in the Rocky Mountain West. I consider myself extremely blessed to be living my dream.
Building and owning a Retreat Center was a life long dream of mine. I married my husband, Phil, who encouraged me and participated in fulfilling the dream. We have met so many wonderful guests who find this remarkable property to be as beautiful, peaceful and serene as we do. Medicine Flower Lodge is an awesome getaway, specially outfitted for group gatherings.
We purchased the land in 2004 and built the Lodge in 2005. I designed the Lodge, trying to incorporate all the things that would make it a special, welcoming and relaxing environment for our guests. In addition to the Lodge, the Guest House accomodates 12 to 14 guests and the 3 Bunk Houses will accommodate another 12, for a total of 40+ guests. The spacious 12-acre grounds offer mountain views, woods, open meadows and a wonderful, covered pavilion overlooking Rock Creek, where guests can kick back and enjoy the beauty and relaxing sounds of the water, or get out their fly rod and try their luck at catching some of the trout that call Rock Creek home. Addiitionally, we have many resident deer, moose, bear, and a multitude of birds of many varieties that frequent the grounds. Medicine Flower Lodge is truly Montana at its best.
