2 bedroom, 4th floor flat in excellent location

The flat is situated in Pimlico which is a family friendly safe area of London which retains a local village feel despite its close proximity to Victoria and all its excellent transport options, just a 5 minute walk for tube, train and coach station.

The flat is well situated on the 4th floor, reached by either stairs or tiny but reliable elevator, of a period (1860) classic London stucco fronted terrace. It has views of the London Eye and Big Ben from the balcony. The flat has two bedrooms (one very small) and the living room has two sofas both of which are double Futons and can be used for additional accommodation.

All the rooms have French doors to the balcony or small terrace and are light and airy. Ceiling fans in bedrooms. Constant hot water. Full bathroom with bath and shower facilities. Well equipped kitchen with ceramic hob, mid-height oven and micro-wave. Large LCD TV with Freeview channels, PS3 multi-media player, iPod speakers and CD player.

Compact, cute and comfortable.

This apartment is certainly compact but it was cosy and comfortable. Much better value and more welcoming than hotel rooms and what it might lack in size it certainly makes up for in character and the superb location. It also has a small balcony with excellent views across to the London Eye and Big Ben.

The apartment is well equipped, adequate for 4 people and within very easy walking distance of both Pimlico and Victoria tube stations. There are two supermarkets within 5 minutes walk, together with plenty of options for eating out or takeaway.

Guy, the owner, was very helpful and flexible throughout the booking process and allowed us early access to the apartment, which was greatly appreciated.

Overall, highly recommend this rental.

Cozy apartment, excellent location

Pimlico flat is smallish yet cozy and very functional two-bedroom apartment near Victoria Station. And the size is relative - with about 42 square meters it's three times the size of the average London hotel room of the same price.

The apartment is located on a quiet street in the top floor. From the balcony you can see the Londen Eye, Big Ben and Westminster. Apollo Victoria (Wicked) and Victoria Palace (Billy Elliott) theaters are within walking distance.

Victoria and Pimlico underground stations are a few hundred meters away, and there is a bus stop right next to the house. Bus 24 takes you to Westminster, Trafalgar Square, Leicester Square, Covent Garden, British Museum and Camden Market.

The kitchen is well equipped with brand new fridge, stove, oven and microwave. The bathroom is recently renovated and relatively large by London standards.

There is a wide screen television with lots of channels, laptop computer and Playstation for children. I travelled with a 14 year old girl and 11 year old boy. They both liked the apartment so much that it was sometimes difficult to persuade them to leave it to see the sights.

Pimlico flat has it's own website with all necessary information, and more. The owners were also very helpful before and during our stay.

All this for a price of a hotel room! Not bad at all.

The small flat is absolutely wonderful! Excellent location, 7 minutes walking from Victoria Station, stunning view from the balcony: London Eye, the flag on the Westminster Palace and the long, white , beautiful street! Spacious enough for 5-6 people, with everything you need inside( microwave oven, laptop, etc.). It wasn't expensive at all, clean and stilish. Extremely cosy! The owner is trustful and very kind.
If I visit London again, I'll book it again.

There is also a 24 hour bus service at the end of our road. There are good local shops and supermarkets, excellent restaurants and coffee shops of all types. Buckingham Palace and St James's Park are just 10 minutes away.
