HISTORIC MASSERIA WITH POOL IN SALENTO, PUGLIA.

Masseria Ruggeri, I strongly suggest to stay there to discover the beauty of Salento’s land ! It is an unbelievable peaceful and charming country house, where we suddenly felt the flavour of the past. The hystorical tower and building, the small chapel, the court and arcades, all in leccese white stone, have been carefully restored. All around you are surrounded by many mature olive trees, greenery, fields and a pretty hidden orange and lemon tree garden, all perfectly daily manicured. The place also cultivates their own biologic produce, which is sometimes kindly served to their guests. We relaxed enjoying the open space, the swimming pool and the arcades shadow during the hot days. The apartments and rooms are all finely equipped so we could fully appreciate this magic place. There is privacy while two guardians are discretely looking after your needs.

The Masseria located in the country side of Salento is also very close to many rocky and sandy beaches of the Adriatic and Ionio sea and to the city of Lecce and the small villages all around where one can visit famous baroque leccese treasures. Last but not least in the typical trattorie we tasted delicious culinary specialties from Puglia.
