These houses provide 6 people with spacious accommodation and have the added benefit of private parking and patio areas with out door seating.

Ardmullen is a small architect designed residential development of 33 beautiful homes, located on the famous Ring of Kerry road on the quiet outskirts of Kenmare town and just a brisk walk from the town centre along a safe footpath serviced by public lighting. Kenmare being a thriving town in rural setting, Ardmullen has all amenities and services close at hand but enjoys a quality of life that is synonymous with the countryside. This private development stands on 4.5 acres of elevated ground and incorporates extensive landscaped green areas, complimenting the pastoral surrounds.

The Ardmullen properties are generously proportioned two-storey homes which boast 3 spacious bedrooms (1 master en-suite, 1 double, 1 twin), comfortably sleeping up to 6 guests. Further accommodation includes a lounge with open fireplace and a large fully equipped kitchen with open plan dining area. All rooms are beautifully and stylishly decorated and are cheerfully bright, with lots of natural light and high quality furnishings. Naturally, bed linen and hotel quality towels are provided for your use. Central heating keeps you snug and warm, and the open fire can be used to create an even more comfortable atmosphere. There is satellite television in the lounge.

Please note that for the benefit of all guests, these are non-smoking houses. Outside, the homes avails of safe off-street parking and at the rear there is a patio area with garden furniture and barbeque. Children in your party will be delighted with the large communal green area well away from the public road, which is perfect for kicking around a ball or enjoying a game of badminton after a day's touring

Convenient Location for Visiting Many SW Spots

House was portrayed correctly in photos and description. House was clean with convenient parking. Nice opportunity to get your laundry done in the middle of a prolonged visit to Ireland, prepare your own meals, relax on patio weather permitting. So much touring of SW Ireland keeps you in a car, so this is nice chance to take a break from driving. I did not ever utilize the master bedroom, so I cannot attest to comfort of the bed there. I must add this con as I had my choice of 4 twin beds. I assigned the master bed to my brother and his wife. We left after 5 crippling nights (for me) because at that point I could not walk without finding a cane due to lack of support from the twin mattresses and soft leather furniture I could not sit on or get up from. If you do have lower back problems you should not take this rental. If you travel with children, perhaps the twin beds will work out for them. Other than that, I did walk earlier in the week into Kenmare using the fairly nearby path a couple of times before the pain conquered me and really spoiled the remaining travels through Ireland. I hope this mostly positive review will be posted as a simple warning to those with back problems. If it doesn't apply, then you should enjoy this rental.
