Beyond the Point Reyes Peninsula, San Francisco and the wine country of Napa and Sonoma, and many other attractions are within an hour's reach.
Fox Haven is adjacent to Fox Ridge, another VRBO (# 422020)property that can sleep 8-10 persons. The two may be rented together for large groups.

The Inverness Ridge setting is tranquil, but very close to the restaurants, shops, galleries, and markets of Point Reyes Station, Olema, and Inverness. Hikers can acess some of the Point Reyes National Seashore trails right from the front door. Other nearby state and county parks offer visitors lovely walking trails (a few wheelchair accessible) to expore the Tomales Bay Ecological Reserve, Papermill Creek, and redwood forests. Foodies and locavores will delight in the opportunity to tour artisinal cheesemakers, picnic at the Drake's Bay Oyster Company, and enjoy the range-fed meats at Marin Sun Farms.
