Why Sally chose Point Reyes Station

This home was designed for the owners by renowned architect Jim Campe, a leader in sustainable building practices who studied under and later taught and worked with Sim Van Der Ryn.

What makes this house unique

Fox Haven is a peaceful retreat for couples, close friends, or small families. Writers and artists will enjoy the light and space to create and think. The Inverness Ridge setting is tranquil, but very close to the restaurants, shops, galleries, and markets of Point Reyes Station, Olema, and Inverness. Reviewer Comments:
Staying at Tucked in Marin was one of the best experiences in my life. The house was very spacious, clean, fully appointed. The views from all angles were awesome. We were 4 couples renting the big house,. We danced, ate, talked til the wee hours of the morning inside and outside on the many decks. There were so many nook for reading, playing games, being alone. Our daughter and her family rented the smaller house. They loved it!

Affordable place to de-stress

  • 5 of 5
I was able to spend some very peaceful time at this property soon after it went on the rental market, and was really happy with this little house. I loved the sunny deck during the day, and the wood stove at night was cozy. There are plenty of good places to eat in Point Reyes Station, nearby, but I found it convenient to shop at the great farmer's market there and fix supper in the nice little kitchen. I got a lot of work done at the great big desk. Looking forward to getting back there!

I stayed here with a couple of friends over a weekend, and we loved the house - it was cozy, quiet, and had all of the amenities! It was a great location for exploring the Point Reyes area. I would happily return for another stay!

Comfortable, low key cottage in nature

  • 5 of 5
My husband and I stayed in this Point Reyes cottage during our honeymoon and have very fond memories of our visit. The cottage itself was comfortable and private. The living room area, where we hung out and drank wine, was really open and inviting. There is a nice kitchen area where we made our breakfast and coffee. The balcony was our favorite part: on it, we could see in complete, beautiful silence the nature surrounding us that we often neglect. While the cottage is-- pleasantly-- in a more secluded area, there are plenty of quality places to eat in the nearby area (my favorite barbequed oysters at the local bar are very close and Osteria Stellina in Point Reyes Station) and of course tourist landmarks like the amazing Point Reyes Lighthouse. The fact that we returned-- this time with friends-- to mark our anniversary the following year, attests to our enjoyment of this cottage. We highly recommend a stay here!
