Park your car and leave it when you escape to our newly renovated, two bedroom/two bathroom “Alpenview Suite” located in the best spot in Breckenridge. The Village at Breckenridge is one of only a very few complexes that is both ski-in/ski-out AND a stone’s throw to the town’s Main Street historic district. Facing southwest and bathed in tons of natural sunlight, our top floor corner unit seven stories above the Blue River has spectacular views from every window. While grilling out on your large private deck, enjoy a commanding 270 degree vista that stretches from Mount Baldy to Quandary Peak to the world-class runs of Breckenridge Ski Resort. Inside, we’ve completely remodeled our 1,200 square foot home-away-from-home with brand new carpet, furnishings, lighting, electronics, mattresses, and linens. Our suite features a wonderfully appointed kitchen with full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and range, along with a crockpot, griddle, blender, toaster, and coffee maker. The large living and dining room area has a romantic gas stone fireplace, huge 60” TV with DIRECTV service and Blu-ray DVD player. Don’t feel like venturing out in the cold? You can “virtually” ski using our Wii gaming system. (We have 17 Wii games to choose from…or feel free to bring your own.) The upgraded queen-sized memory foam mattress on the leather sleeper sofa makes for a much better night’s rest than an average couch. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed with Simmons Beautyrest mattress, ceiling fan, LED TV with Blu-ray player, separate tub and vanity areas, large walk-in closet, and direct access to the deck. Enjoy your morning coffee in the sitting area under the huge picture window, or curl up in a blanket in one of the comfy deck chairs. The second bedroom features two queen-sized beds with Sealy Templeton mattresses, ceiling fan, LED TV, private bathroom, and its own private balcony. Free wireless internet throughout the suite. In addition, our guests have access to all the on-site amenities of the Village, including a fitness center with locker rooms, showers and exercise equipment, heated indoor/outdoor pool, sauna, steam room, hot tubs, heated parking garage, ski rental, lift ticket office, ski school, medical clinic and more! We love Breckenridge because it’s a real town with a real history dating back to 1859, much of which has been carefully preserved in Colorado’s largest historic district. The skiing is fabulous, but the summers have kept us coming back since 1999. You CANNOT get bored here: outside of the amazing array of winter sports (downhill skiing, cross-county skiing, heli-skiing, snowboarding, sledding, snowshoeing, tubing, ice skating, snowmobiling, dogsledding, ice climbing, sleigh riding), there’s a dizzying array of 3-season outdoor activities like hiking, climbing, mountain biking, horseback riding, golfing, white water rafting, kayaking, ballooning, swimming, running, tennis…pretty much something for everyone! Our condo is a great, peaceful escape for our family, and we’re anxious to share it with you on your next mountain vacation!

We had a wonderful time in this condo located right by Main Street in Breckenridge. Everything about this condo was excellent. It was very clean, the beds and living room furniture were comfortable, the living room TV was large, the views were spectacular, and the bottle of wine left for us by the owner was much appreciated.

Owner's Response: Thank you for the compliments! I hate it when you arrive at a vacation home only to find a tiny, outdated television. All our TV's are new and BIG. The living room television is a smart 60" HD LED TV with BluRay disc player and Wii gaming system (with 17 games to choose from). In addition, we have a smart 50" LED TV in the second bedroom and a 39" HD LED TV with BluRay disc player in the master bedroom. And did I mention the complimentary WiFi throughout the suite?

Great location!

We needed a place to stay in Breckenridge for my daughter's wedding at The Maggie. The location of this place was perfect! It was close to the Maggie and close to Main Street with all of the quaint little shops. We hardly used our car because everything was within walking distance.The beds were very comfortable! The views are unbelievable from every window. Someone mentioned noise (from a smoke detector?) but we didn't notice anything at all in either bedroom. If we had the patio door open, we could hear the water flowing in the brook below, a very relaxing sound. I would definitely stay at this condo again. It was clean, comfortable, with quality furnishings and the location and views can't be beat!

Love Breckenridge!

We have goen to Breck every summer for the past 4 and always stay at the River Mountain Lodge. We chose to stay somewhere different this time. This condo is still in a great location with walking distance to everything. Owner was very good at keeping in touch with us throughout the whole rental process up right up until the day we left which was really nice, you can tell he really cared about your visit (unlike some of the other owners we have rented from). We did not have any issues. I did like the amenities much better at this place than the other. I will to agree with the other person who said that the smoke detectors were noisy though. They really only bothered my kids when they slept in the front room. Otherwise, not a big deal. The place was very clean, nice furniture, and plenty of room for a family with kids!

Owner's Response: As I've stated before, we're not a hotel chain, and Alpenview Suite is the only vacation property we own and manage. When you stay with us, you are staying in our home and we treat you like an extension of our family. Therefore, I take every critique and every review (especially those that rate us less than 5 stars) very seriously. To describe the smoke detector as "noisy" is a bit of an overstatement. As I sit here in dead silence responding to this review (as you can tell my kids are still asleep!), I hear the hum of my computer monitor, the ticking of my clock, and the drone of my refrigerator...all sounds that, in my opinion, are louder than the "growl" from the emergency speakers (required by the fire department, by the way) in the hallway near the kitchen and above the bathroom in the second bedroom. I just got off the phone with the owner of the company who installed the speakers and he confirmed that the problem is complex-wide and they don't exactly know what is causing it. Can you hear the growl from the speakers? Yes, but only in dead silence and only if you are listening for it. My wife and I have slept in the second bedroom and it did NOT keep us awake. My kids always sleep in the second bedroom and it does NOT keep them awake. In fact, with the ceiling fan on and/or with the patio door open to the sounds of the Blue River below, we don't even notice it. I'm anxious for more guests to weigh in on this issue...

We loved the condo. It was very open with windows in the dining room, family & Mst. bedroom. We enjoyed having coffee on the balcony & over looking Maggie's Pond & Peak 9.
I can see why this would be in demand for ski season, you can walk to the lift. We could walk to Main street & numerous shops & restaurants. We have been to Breckinridge many time times & this is one of the best. Thanks for everything. Weber's from Southlake, Tx.

Owner's Response: Thanks for your review. We've been fortunate to find that our home has been in-demand year round. Since we're less than 100 yards from the QuickSilver ski lift, our location is certainly ideal for ski season. But, with the town of Breckenridge in our front yard and White River National Forest in our backyard, there's so much to do here in the spring, summer, and fall, too. For most of the hundreds of condos for rent here in Breckenridge, you're forced to choose between an in-town location OR easy access to the ski lifts and hiking/biking trails of the national forest. Not with Alpenview Suite...we're blessed to have the best of both worlds in a luxury vacation accommodation.

Very spacious apartment, well equipped and comfortable. Fantastic views from the top floor and great location near Main Street. We took our 9 month old son and found the apartment baby friendly with a travel cot and a high chair provided. We would recommend this apartment to others.

Owner's Response: Thanks for highlighting our "family friendliness". In addition to providing a portable Pack-and-Play baby crib, high chair, toys, and humidifiers, we've taken great pains to make sure our littlest guests are safe by adding security chains to the front door and sliding balcony door in the second bedroom. The exterior balcony railings and windows are compliant with the latest safety codes. Plus, with our location next door to the Breckenridge Children's Museum and short walks (even for little legs) to Main Street, the Quicksilver chairlift, and national forest hiking trails...our home is perfectly located for any family get-away.

We recently spent a week in Breckenridge with our family of 5 in this lovely condo. It was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were within walking distance of everything in Breckenridge, and within a short drive to stunning hiking trails. The condo owners were attentive to our needs and even called during our stay to ensure we had everything we needed for our family. You can choose to cook your meals in the well-appointed kitchen, or take a short walk to amazing restaurants and bars. There is even a grocery store within walking distance! We would highly recommend this condo for any type of family configuration...children young and old will be comfortable and happy! We have three girls who were thrilled to have their own private space, bathroom, and beds. My husband and I appreciated the tranquil sound of the river just outside our balcony. We can't say enough about this condo. You won't be disappointed to make this your "home base" for a vacation in Breckenridge!

Owner's Response: One of the things we love about our condo is the floor plan. The living room separates the master bedroom from the second bedroom, affording a lot of privacy. We're on the top floor, corner of the building, so every window looks out over the melodious Blue River directly below.
