Park your car and leave it when you escape to our newly renovated, two bedroom/two bathroom “Alpenview Suite” located in the best spot in Breckenridge. The Village at Breckenridge is one of only a very few complexes that is both ski-in/ski-out AND a stone’s throw to the town’s Main Street historic district. Facing southwest and bathed in tons of natural sunlight, our top floor corner unit seven stories above the Blue River has spectacular views from every window. While grilling out on your large private deck, enjoy a commanding 270 degree vista that stretches from Mount Baldy to Quandary Peak to the world-class runs of Breckenridge Ski Resort. Inside, we’ve completely remodeled our 1,200 square foot home-away-from-home with brand new carpet, furnishings, lighting, electronics, mattresses, and linens. Our suite features a wonderfully appointed kitchen with full-sized refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, and range, along with a crockpot, griddle, blender, toaster, and coffee maker. The large living and dining room area has a romantic gas stone fireplace, huge 60” TV with DIRECTV service and Blu-ray DVD player. Don’t feel like venturing out in the cold? You can “virtually” ski using our Wii gaming system. (We have 17 Wii games to choose from…or feel free to bring your own.) The upgraded queen-sized memory foam mattress on the leather sleeper sofa makes for a much better night’s rest than an average couch. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed with Simmons Beautyrest mattress, ceiling fan, LED TV with Blu-ray player, separate tub and vanity areas, large walk-in closet, and direct access to the deck. Enjoy your morning coffee in the sitting area under the huge picture window, or curl up in a blanket in one of the comfy deck chairs. The second bedroom features two queen-sized beds with Sealy Templeton mattresses, ceiling fan, LED TV, private bathroom, and its own private balcony. Free wireless internet throughout the suite. We’re not a hotel chain or big corporation…just a family whose dream was always to own property in the mountains. We love Breckenridge because it’s a real town with a real history dating back to 1859, much of which has been carefully preserved in Colorado’s largest historic district. The skiing is fabulous, but the summers have kept us coming back since 1999. You CANNOT get bored here: outside of the amazing array of winter sports (downhill skiing, cross-county skiing, heli-skiing, snowboarding, sledding, snowshoeing, tubing, ice skating, snowmobiling, dogsledding, ice climbing, sleigh riding), there’s a dizzying array of 3-season outdoor activities like hiking, climbing, mountain biking, horseback riding, golfing, white water rafting, kayaking, ballooning, swimming, running, tennis…pretty much something for everyone! Our condo is a great, peaceful escape for our family, and we’re anxious to share it with you on your next mountain vacation!

This condo gives our family of six room to spread out. The bedrooms are separated by the living room and entryway, affording a lot of privacy. The location of the Village at Breckenridge can't be beat...ski-in for lunch and walk to just about everything in town. Located next to the paved Blue River bike trail, Breckenridge Children's Museum, 2 blocks to Riverwalk Performing Arts Center, 3 blocks to nearest grocery/liquor stores, 4 blocks to ice rink, 5 blocks to Breckenridge Arts District

Excellent accomodation

Very spacious apartment, well equipped and comfortable. Fantastic views from the top floor and great location near Main Street. We took our 9 month old son and found the apartment baby friendly with a travel cot and a high chair provided. We would recommend this apartment to others.

Owner's Response: Thanks for highlighting our "family friendliness". In addition to providing a portable Pack-and-Play baby crib, high chair, toys, and humidifiers, we've taken great pains to make sure our littlest guests are safe by adding security chains to the front door and sliding balcony door in the second bedroom. The exterior balcony railings and windows are compliant with the latest safety codes. Plus, with our location next door to the Breckenridge Children's Museum and short walks (even for little legs) to Main Street, the Quicksilver chairlift, and national forest hiking trails...our home is perfectly located for any family get-away.

Recent Stay in Breckenridge

We recently spent a week in Breckenridge with our family of 5 in this lovely condo. It was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We were within walking distance of everything in Breckenridge, and within a short drive to stunning hiking trails. The condo owners were attentive to our needs and even called during our stay to ensure we had everything we needed for our family. You can choose to cook your meals in the well-appointed kitchen, or take a short walk to amazing restaurants and bars. There is even a grocery store within walking distance! We would highly recommend this condo for any type of family configuration...children young and old will be comfortable and happy! We have three girls who were thrilled to have their own private space, bathroom, and beds. My husband and I appreciated the tranquil sound of the river just outside our balcony. We can't say enough about this condo. You won't be disappointed to make this your "home base" for a vacation in Breckenridge!

Owner's Response: One of the things we love about our condo is the floor plan. The living room separates the master bedroom from the second bedroom, affording a lot of privacy. We're on the top floor, corner of the building, so every window looks out over the melodious Blue River directly below.

Family Summer Vacation

It was hard leaving Breckenridge and this wonderful condo earlier this week! We spent 2 weeks in this beautiful condo. The listing photos do a good job of showing the condo with a few exceptions ... the view from the balcony is really 180 degrees! We watched clouds, storms, beautiful blue skies, gorgeous colors on the clouds from the sun setting, the moon and stars! All amazingly beautiful. The photos also didn't completely convey the ambiance of the condo. Nice touches like flameless candles, light dimmers, so many windows to open to let the clean air in, and super comfortable beds made our stay even more enjoyable!
The condo is centrally located so we walked everywhere ... restaurants, shopping, and many trail heads. We drove to a few trail heads too - all easy drives. There are so many hiking options in the area! Go to the Visitor Center and they can give you maps.
Breckenridge is close to many other nice mountain towns. We did some day trips to Lake Dillon, Avon, Vail and Frisco.
Restaurants we enjoyed are The Blue Stag, La Francaise, Park and Main and Empire Burger. There are many more that we didn't make it to because we grilled at "home" - the unit has an electric grill on the balcony. So easy to use (I've never grilled before!) It was nice to have this option for healthy dinners.
Joe was helpful every step of the way! I thought it was very thoughtful of him to call soon after we got there to make sure everything was okay.
Can't wait to go back and I would definitely recommend this condo and Breckinridge!

Nice place, great location

Nice place, comparable to a clean 4 star hotel, but the location is unbeatable in breck. Literally less than 100 yard walk to the lift. Walk to everything in town. Couldn't have asked for more. Stayed late season with a friend to do some skiing and relaxing and had no issues what so ever. Great alternative to a hotel room with this kitchen/living area and such.

Best location in Breck

Could not have been a better location for skiing. Walkin distance to everything. Condo is very well appointed. Parking was in the building. Highly recommended. Only negative was a buzzing smoke detector near second bedroom which could be heard at night. Seems to have been a building issue

Owner's Response: Thanks for mentioning the on-site parking...if you drive, you can certainly feel safe leaving your car in our secure, heated garage. Regarding the smoke detector, each condo in the building is required by local fire codes to have a speaker which may be used by rescue personnel in case of emergency. It is these speakers that sometimes "chatter". I've spoken with the company that completed the speaker and fire alarm installation and they confirmed that yes, it is a building-wide problem and no, they don't know what causes it. We've found that the faint "chatter" can only be heard when the room is dead silent and that it amounts to a white noise equivalent to maybe a computer monitor or refrigerator running in the background. It's certainly nothing that has kept my kids awake at night.

Perfect Condo in Breck for Ski in/Ski out with kids

We were so pleased with the accomodations at this Condo. All new furniture, carpet, bathrooms, etc. The view was OUTSTANDING! The homeowners paid attention to all the details in making our stay perfect. The two queen beds were spacious and not cramped, and the master was equally as spacious. In addition, there was a visitor's book on the coffee table that highlighted everything available in the town of Breckenridge. It was very helpful. I can not wait to go back!
